I was without the power for almost a month in my apartment. It took maintenance forever to fix even after several requests. I had paid two months of rent in full but after being without power for so long it created confusion about my bill. My balance said I owed $0.00 so I didnt check it again until the following month where I was charged double plus about $600 in late fees. I always paid and never had gone that long without paying until I was without power and had no access to my account. It said $0.00 at first but then they changed it so they could charge me late fees. I. My final month of living there I tried to pay my bill but the website wouldnt let me and I called the office and they would not allow me to pay but instead decided to evict me even though I had the money to pay in full. I wasnt even living there and it the time and it was my last month anyways. They would not let pay and then sent me a bill charging extra fees one of which was about $1600 for failure to notify them about move out when I told them several weeks before and they gave me a move out date which was not even needed because I wasnt living there and already gone. I want to contact the attorney generals office and file a complaint against them and have their business licenses revoked for fraud.
