On 6/13/22 I went to the Emergency Room at Mercy Gilbert Hospital. I have Federal Employees Blue Cross insurance. Premier Emergency Services billed my insurance and was paid, nothing due from me. They again attempted to bill my insurance in August of 2022 and September of 2022, which were both denied, as they had already paid them. Now I have a collection on my credit that just showed up for $1026 for this. I called my insurance to ensure this was paid and it was. There is no number to contact Premier Emergency Services. I called the hospital that referred me to a line with some kind of recording trying to sell some service. I called the collection agency, BME and they have no way of contacting Premier, so I was told. I did submit my Explanation of Benefits to them, also filed with Trans union and Experian. If they have done this to me, I have no doubt there are many more. Not only is Premier fraudulently billing people, but ultimately the hospital should be liable.

I had a visit at Mercy Gilbert ER back in March of 2022. I provided my insurance information at the time and my insurance was active. It also would’ve covered the trip to the ER and all services there in full. I have confirmed this with them as well. My insurance company said they never received this bill! I called Premier when I received the bill in the mail about it from them and they said they would submit it to my insurance. It is now February of 2023 and I have yet again received another bill in the mail from them, this time from a collections agency. I do not owe this bill. They were supposed to submit it to my insurance.

I paid twice for the same bill ****** # **** on 3/13/22 & check #**** on 4/18/22) Have contacted Premier Emergency Medical Specialists 9 times in the last 8 months and am unable to get the refund for the duplicate payment. I have spoken to numerous individuals including a supervisor and have not gotten any results. This should not be this difficult! What is included in the attachments:Copies of the bills with payment info on them Copies of the canceled checks for both checks Final notice sent by PEMS after I had paid the bills stating that I still owed them money My call notes from each of the calls I would appreciate anything you can do to get my refund of $469.02 for the duplicated payment.

I checked my credit report this morning concerned that my credit had gone down when applying for a car loan. To my surprise, I see that I have one account in collections. I gathered that information and called Premier EM Medical Specialists to find out what was going on. It turns out that I apparently owe them money for a hospital visit back in August of 2021. Im happy to pay all bills that I have outstanding from companies that rendered me service, but Ive never been informed about this bill, never got any phone calls, bills in the mail, or emails about this matter and was just put in collections without ever making an attempt to contact me. This is extremely poor business practice and to significantly impact my credit at this time is unacceptable.Im requesting that they report back to the creditors that I am not, and have never been delinquent with this company and that in the future they develop better practices to attempt to get ahold of those that owe them money before sending that information to the creditors.I cannot pay what I am unaware of.

My medical insurance and my self paid our responsible portions of the my medical **** and it was paid in full. I have made numerous calls to this company, as i was still receiving the same **** and each time i spoke with a Rep at the Premier and I was told to disregard the ****, that the all payments had been received and how the adjustment had not been process on their end and a request was being submitted to get this taken care of. This had been going on since 9/2020 - the last rep i spoke with was on 10/18/21 and i was told the same thing again. I got a Collections **** 3/7/22 for the same ****. I called today and spoke with ****** A (supervisor) who told me the same thing i have been told for over a year, she confirmed my conversation with the ***** (rep i spoke to on 10/18) and stated she would escalate the adjustment request and contact the collect company, and that i had to wait until the request has been processed... THIS IS CRAZY a **** that has been paid being sent to collections because they DROPPED THE ************ ****** A also stated she would contact the collections company (via email) and have my account pulled. I contacted the ******************* and they have nothing from ****** A, however ***** (the person i spoke with) did place a courtesy hold on the account

    BBB COMMENT BY STAFF SKW:

I have these accounts date of service 5/9/2020 went to collections

The records show currently that the account is under review. Premier is doesn't have much information. This usually determines if they will remove it or not.
