A high value precious metal purchase from APMEX was shipped to my specific home address for my required signature. Regrettable the package was stolen by a pretend jogger who supposedly had my name on a made-up license (on a different street other than mine). He went up to the brown truck delivery company truck and asked for it and was given the package. I suppose it was scanned and signed by the thief. I received an email from brown truck delivery that my shipment had to been delivered to my address and signed by me. Both of these incidence did not happen as I have Ring Camera photos to prove they were not delivered to my address nor to me. I immediately reported the loss to brown truck delivery company and APMEX. Brown truck delivery dropped their investigation in a day or two because according to them it was delivered. I guess if they pitch it out on the streets, it's delivered to the street. They should consider converting their trucks to taco trucks. They might be able to do a better job at that. Ring Camera photos (front house) at the supposedly time of delivery were submitted for proof as requested by APMEX plus other things. I filed a police and ******************* Detective report as well. In the end, APMEX exonerated me of any wrong doings and replaced the shipment. I have to give APMEX a 5-star rating and will definitely do business with them in the future for honoring their insurance promise. They are the company to use for your precious metal needs. In conclusion, if this happens to you, be ready to do your do diligence rather than whine about it. Identity theft is rampant and out there. Documentation and patience is very important and in the end APMEX will do the right thing for you. Thank you APMEX.

Disappointed that after 3 years and >$12,000 as a customer, my account has been locked. I always had a good experience with them, but since the start of 2024 when they got purchased, customers have not come first. In January, they downgraded my account's club status (and every other member's status). Then in April during coin week, I purchased >$1,000 in numismatic coins to qualify for a $35 dollar rebate. When I never received the code I inquired, and they told me that one of the coins didn't qualify despite being marked as eligible. Not having received the product, I performed a chargeback - in response APMEX threatened me with collections. I returned their products but they've advised me I should shop elsewhere. It's disheartening that under new management, a 3+ year relationship is not valued, especially when it is not hard to find other retailers with lower premiums. I liked APMEX for the unique selection and looked past the highest premiums in the industry because of it. In a time when silver prices are skyrocketing, APMEX's margins must be great, but they put the bottom line in front of a small $35 dollar rebate for a long-time, reliable customer. 2/5 because before the acquisition the company was good and reliable despite higher-than-reasonable premiums.

Trustworthy company, quick shipping, but I do not want these messages to come to my email every time I buy silver. I don't' need to do a review for every purchase and these come to me under false pretenses to ask if I received my purchase. Pleases stop doing this!
