This company owes me over $1,000.00 for towing services and no one will give me address so I can get reimbursed and also they keep taking $19.95 a month but keep saying it is canceled and now I just spoke to a lady named ****** at dispatch a 3rd party and this company has not sent me a replacement card she said she she finds canceled account ******** and I want this issue fixed they keep saying that I am canceled since 12/20/21 and then she said she she finds active account then why do they do this I am owed over $1,000 out of pocket cost for service calls because they said I was not coveredBusiness response

I contacted MCA Motorclub in January 2022 to get roadside assistance, when I was told that I my services were canceled back November 2021. I attempted to contact the number provided as main number and left several messages that were unanswered. I finally reached another department and the representative informed me that my services had been canceled, due to unknown reasons that they were not able to access. They escalated my call, and told me I would receive a call back within 48hrs, which I never received. I was able to confirm that I did have an additional $20.00 (initial deposit) on my account which I asked to receive back. I was also billed automatically for the months of 12/2021, and in 02/2022 in the amount of $19.95 I am requesting my money back, and no further automatic withdrawls.Business response

I purchased this of $40 with the guarantee that it could be used immediately that was not the case I purchased and was then told I would need to wait 48 hours to use product which I requested then to be cancelled. I never received anything in the mail and assumed it was cancelled until I received another charge of $19.99 today. I have called several times, no one answers I have emailed and the email bounces back and is denied. I want all my money refunded the $40 & $20 and I want my card information REMOVED you are falsely advertising and stealing money with no way to cancel membership or speak with anyone!Business response

My car broke down on Christmas Eve and I called for roadside assistance. I was told that my coverage canceled and could not be verified because offices were closed. The company drafts $19.95/mo from my acct and it was just drafted on 12/13. In addition, I'd just had my son's car towed earlier in the week and had just encountered the same issue. It apparently was only rectified for that moment. But the problem should have been corrected by MCA then. And it wasn't. It was the holiday and I asked for alt verification like emailing a copy of my statement showing the draft. But none of that was acceptable. I paid $110 for the tow they dispatched. Then they put me through the ringer to be refunded once my membership was verified. Supervisor ***** M (who I spoke with on Christmas Eve) played gatekeeper to all the wrong they did. Refused to provide number for billing department or deviate at all from their scripted response. My insistence finally landed a blocked call from another supervisor ***** S stating he'd authorized my refund... I'm waiting to see if it processes. I was made to feel as if I was done a favor. I paid for a service that MCA DID NOT PROVIDE WHEN I NEEDED IT. Their systems of checks/balances does not favor it's customers in times of urgency and service unacceptable. Then once they realize they were wrong, you have to chase them down and jump through hoops for them to fix their mistake. Beyond disappointed.Business response

please accept my apologies. We are transitioning from one database platform to another, which has caused confusion with our dispatch provider as to whose membership is current. We have taken steps to resolve this issue. It is my understanding that a refund was sent for the full amount that you paid the tower. Tried calling all three phone numbers listed on their website on 12/14 night and 12/15 morning. Kept getting a busy signal. I have been stranded for hours trying to get ahold of someone at MCA. What kind of "emergency" roadside assistance is this?Business response

Road assistance $94 to ***** Card active member ********. After hours connect told expired/cancelled, old account with full legal change to motor club only, but both appear; desperate, agree to out of pocket, with agreement for reimbursement. *****: get receipt from road assistance called was told they would email, not sent. Service only Jumpstart charged for full tow. Incident: Nov 19, 2021, unavailable #'so when calling today, patiently waited for receipt to send to autohelpline.com, being ignored. Amount **** monthly Motor club America I called for road side assistance. They said my access canceled. They just automatically withdraw my money Oct 25 2021. So how am I canceled. They have withdrawn my money every month for multiple multiple years . This company is obvious fake. I'm very upset . I'm out in 29 degrees locked out of my car . I'm a very honest person. MCA is currently charging me $14.95 a month for roadside assistance. There website doesn't have a $14.95 plan. I called to ask about the plan and for MCA to send out information about the plan. I also need a membership card. MCA needs to verify that the $14.95 plan exist and provide me with documentation and post the plan on their website. Otherwise Im going to assume that the $14.95 plan doesn't exist and MCA is committing fraud!Business response
