    In late December, I hired Thunder Moving to move me from my two bedroom, **** square-foot home into a three-bedroom **** square-foot townhome. This was my second time using Thunder Moving and I felt really good about it. I was completely taken advantage ofmy dresser way scratched beyond repair (by negligently sliding the ** off of the top, leaving deep scratches) and later dropping the dresser down a flight of stairs. The movers were very kind, honest and apologetic about dropping the dresser, they took their own pictures and when they left that day we thought it would be easily resolved. The owner has been completely unwavering, he will not take me seriously nor make this right. Ive given him a little over two months to do so. This dresser was newless than two years oldand delivered by ****** Brothers with white glove service. It had not one scratch on it. Thunder Moving has done irreparable damage, with no consequences or liability on their end. Theyve offered $60 for a $600 dresser, and that is not acceptable. The owner should be ashamed. Their contract is vague and doesnt mention negligence on their behalf. I am seeking a full refund of $500, so that I can replace my dresser.

    I would never use Thunder movers ever again and have told many people not to use them either. In December, they moved me about 5 miles within Yukon. Many items damaged (pictures, a marble top table and a few other things). The biggest damage was that they put a nice ding (about the size of a dime) in my black side by side fridge. The mover even said the ding was not there prior to moving it. I filed a claim and the owner, Nick came back and said it wasn't covered but they would give me a $75 goodwill check. Total insult, as a new fridge door would be $850. A month or so later I received a check for the $75 with a letter stating that if I cashed the check, I would not be able to post any negative comments on social media (basically). What a joke. Ripped the check up. Be careful which movers you select. Better to go with a well known vendor instead of a mom and pop small mover..

We do our best to handle damage claims fairly and according to the valuation option selected by the customer on the day of the move. In this case, the item was not covered, but we offered a courtesy reimbursement above what the valuation option would have provided were it a covered item. We were unaware of any other damaged items, as nothing other than the refrigerator was presented to us in the damage claims process.We wish you the best moving forward.Thank you,***************** Owner
