    Alder home security charges me every month for a home security system for a house I no longer have. The security system was sold with the house and I have been trying to cancel the recurring bill for years. Yet every month they change me and I call me asking me if I'm satisfied with my system. Every time I tell them no and that I have been trying to cancel the system, they say okay and then the next month I get charged AGAIN! I am at my witts end with them.

    When I moved into my apartment at *********************************, I called the ***** (power company) to start my new service here. They suggested Alder Home Protection. So I signed up and after a few months, the equipment stopped working. I no longer wanted their equipment or services. I called them about canceling my account, but they said I need to pay $2,700 in order to cancel my account. We went back & forth for a few months before I gave up and got the equipment fixed. Fast forward a year later, the equipment breaks again. I call them back about canceling again. This time they told me I would need to pay $2,500 in order to cancel my account. Terrible company with deceptive business practices.
