On 11/15/2024 My wife and I traded 2 vehicles in on 2 new vehicles. It is now 12/30/2023 and the 2 vehicles traded in have not been payed off. The credit companies have called us and emailed us letting us know we are over 30 days late on payments and another payment is due. The dealership will not return our calls or messages. We would simply like for the dealership to honor their contract before our credit takes a hit. Thanks V/R ***** ****** SFC **** U.S.A.R.

I recently purchased a brand new vehicle from riverside autoplex and traded in my 1 year old vehicle. As usual, they requested the payoff amount and we wrapped that into my new vehicle loan. The problem has since came 2 months down the road where I got hit on my credit score and just spoke to the business who my previous auto loan was financed through and there has been no attempts to pay off the vehicle. I have now been calling riverside auto since I have been aware of this and they are now just forwarding me to voicemail and not giving me calls back that they promise. This deal was done on 10/18/24 so it has now been nearly 2 months and my credit has taken a huge hit for late payments when I havent missed a payment, it was actually the dealership (riverside autoplex) failing to pay off the loan. It also appears they have since sold my old vehicle which will be a problem for the buyer as well since there is still a lien on the vehicle.

On 12/09/2022 I, ****** ********* payed ********* Autoplex of Pateau, Oklahoma the amount of 1000$ to hold a truck that I was considering purchasing. I had not signed any paperwork at all, was not told about policies regarding refunds of hold money, nor does the receipt state anything about refunds of hold money. I had spoken with salesman Stephen ***** and was approved for financing along with a down payment. I asked about details of the vehicle and for more pictures of it and did receive three additional photos of the interior. I drove from Monroe, Louisiana to Pateau, Oklahoma on Sunday the 11th and arrived at approximately 7:30 p.m. I was excited about seeing the vehicle I was considering purchasing so I went and found it on the lot that evening. I noticed a few major things about the vehicle that were not disclosed to me prior to paying 1000$ to put a hold on the vehicle. There is a fifth wheel attachment with a hole through the truck bed, there is rust on top of and underneath the vehicle, and there is wiring hanging down underneath the engine Bay Area. I took the evening to think it over and decided I was not willing to purchase the vehicle and informed Stephen ***** the following Monday morning and asked for my hold money back. Stephen ***** and Tesla ****** the sales manager refused to refund my money and are only offering credit on another vehicle from their lot. My perspective is that they sped me through the process without informing me of details about the vehicle and whether or not the hold money is refundable in any way.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/22) */ Contact Name and Title: Tesla ****** Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: ***********@riversideautoplex.com ****** sent a lead in on 12/09/2022 and then called about our 2010 F-150 we have for sale for $11,875 plus doc. We got credit on this day and tried to move him to a different vehicle. We explained to him that it is an $11k truck and it is in rough shape. It has been through our shop and runs great, but that it was not pretty. He said he did not care and wanted to be submitted on it. He asked for more pics and more pictures of the inside and outside was sent. Customer was told over the phone that we could get him done on something a little, nicer and newer, but the payment would be higher. He stated to us through text to keep working on getting him approved on the 2010 because it fit his budget. Got him approved, called and delivered numbers. Customer agreed to numbers. We explained that with his deposit it would mark the truck as sold, so that no one else could purchase it. He agreed to do $1000 down over the phone so we would mark it as sold and hold it for him until he could make it in on the 12th, the following Monday. He never showed up. We called to follow up and he stated that he came in on Sunday, looked at it, and changed his mind, and drove back home. He never came into the dealership to talk with us about any issues he found on the truck. Explained again the down payment is non refundable and that we had the truck pulled off the lot for him for 4 days and have turned other buyers away because he put $1000 to mark it sold. He agreed to move the down payment and try for a different truck. Got him approved, and he said the payment was too high. He stated he would just stay with the 2010 due to it was in his budget. Rescheduled the appointment for Saturday the 17th. Reprinted paperwork for him again, and he did not show. His text was "Hey, I'm not coming, Sorry to waste your time. I'll just chalk it up to a loss. Thank you for all your help." So in total we had this truck pulled off the lot for a total of 9 days waiting for him to show up, with it marked as sold. The customer states he came on the lot when we were closed and looked at this truck. he states there were wires hanging down and rust under the truck. This truck has no wires hanging. There is rust on top of the truck, which was shown in pictures and disclosed over the phone of looks of this truck. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/12/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) #1 there is no way the truck was off the lot for 4 days because I paid 1000$ for the hold on the truck Thursday afternoon, they are closed on Sunday, and I let them know Monday morning I was no longer interested in buying it. #2 I was told over the phone that the money was to hold the vehicle not a deposit. I was not informed that it was not refundable. I asked salesman Stephen ***** if it was refundable if I decided not to go through with the deal after I made the mistake of paying them and his response was "we will see what we can do when you get here". I also never signed anything at all stating it was not refundable and the receipt I have for the payment does not say it is not refundable. #3 I was never approved for any other vehicle after being approved for financing on the 2010 f150. Steven ***** did offer to sell me a cheaper "cash truck" which I was not interested in. #4 the only reason I considered going through with the same deal on the f150 again after being refused a refund was because I was not approved for another vehicle and they also already had 1000$ of mine that they won't refund me. #5 I am a customer considering spending my hard earned money on a major purchase so if I see an issue that I don't want to deal with on a product that I'm looking at it is my choice whether to go through with the deal or not. Whether it is hail damage, rust, electrical, mechanical, etc I should be free to make that decision and not be chastised for it. I was sent three pictures of the interior of the vehicle and saw three photos on the dealer website. That is all the pictures of the vehicle that were available to me. Consumer Response /* (2000, 16, 2023/02/15) */ Myself and ********* Autoplex have resolved the issue and there is no reason for this complaint to remain on file or affect them in any way.
