I purchased my vehicle in October of 2023 but the reason for this complaint was just discovered in July of 2024. Unfortunately, I never reviewed my paperwork, nor noticed anything wrong, until after I decided to start look into refinancing my car. It was at this time that I notice my payoff was a little over $3,000 more than it should have been. In reviewing my financing documents, I discovered two unauthorized charges of roughly $350 and $2,700. These charges explaine the higher than expected payoff. The charges were identified as an oil change package, that was said to be free to me, and the other, an extended warranty. When finance asked me about purchasing an extended warranty, I specifically replied, "You guys tapped me out, and I'm not going to be able to get any of that." The warranty conversation ended there. In the filling out of the paperwork process, I was provided a stylis and signature pad. The actual document was on the finance employee's computer. I could not see the document nor did I have control of the document. The process went as follows: 1. Finance employee verbally summarizes document to be signed. 2. I insert my signature using the provided stylis and pad. 3. A flash drive containing a copy of the signed document is given to me. I had no reason to distrust the employee or question what I was signing. I also called the finance manager. I told him what happened and his reaction was very obtuse, like it happens all the time! He only apologizes and offers to help me cancel the warranty. He even adds a pompous remark about, "You signed" the document. That remark prompted me to take the situation further.Initial Complaint

I bought a new 2024 ram 1500 Bighorn and it had a gash type blemish on the front bumper and its a night addition so its painted black. They have tried seven times to fix this bumper and it gets worse every time they try to fix it and they have admitted that its not good enough, but they still want the same guy to try. Im done with him trying I went and got an estimate to have the bumper just completely redone and they dont want to go that route I have called them and they avoid my calls hang up or always say theyre busy or not there which I know theyre lying so I would like to get this resolved by getting it painted at a body shop and being done with it it is a brand new truck. It should be done right and even the body place told me the way they done it is very sketchy in within eight months to a year. It will *********** away and be terrible and thats not the way it should be done .Initial Complaint

Very misleading dealership. Ran a second credit application 3 weeks after running a credit application to buy a car. Second credit application was not authorized. Also I was told to bring in money for a down payment on a car, that I was supposed to be purchasing and they sold it out from ***** me saying someone from out of state came in all the way down there within a 25 min time frame of me already saying I'm on my way after they told I was good to bring in the down payment. And that wasn't the only vehicle that was sold out from ***** me. And then on top of those two things they tried to sell me some jalapey that didn't even come close to what I was wanting. I have been telling everyone I know not to deal with this dealership. Because to me they were trying to bait and switch me.Initial Complaint

Their online claim to beat any competitors trad in by $500 was not honored. They offered $31,000 for my trade, another dealer in the vicinity offered $35,000. When I asked ******, the salesperson, his response was "you should take their offer!". I asked multiple times about their offer to beat a competitors offer only to be ignoredInitial Complaint

I bought this vehicle a few months ago as a "Certifed Pre-Owned" truck. This has been the worst experience that I've ever had with a dealership. First, it took around three months to get the title. The last temp tag they sent arrived late so I couldn't drive for a few days even though I was told a tag was on the way when I called and inquired about it. Second was that I found out that my bank of choice was more than willing to finance me, but I was told that they more than likely got an incentive from ***************** so I'm paying a higher interest rate than what I would have been. Third, I had a flat and went to get the kit, but it was missing. When I called about it I was told that I could buy **********, it wasn't their problem. I was also given the wrong floormats for the Rebel in the back seat. And lastly, when I tried to use the 4WD for the first time last week, it didn't work. I just had it diagnosed by another RAM dealership, and it has close to $10,000.00 in repair to the front end that needs to be done. Their (*** Cooper's) general manager ***************************** is avoiding my calls even though they had asked for a call about my one-star review on their dealership. I have lost revenue at my business because I've had to take off work to address this problem, as well as driving 47 miles each way to the closest Ram dealer that had an open slot to look at my truck. There is a good chance that this vehicle was never inspected, but just was washed and put out in the lot. When they showed it to me, it wasn't parked in the sales lot, but in the maintenance area, and I had just observed someone driving it on a parts run or possibly to get lunch. It had 70% oil life upon receipt, however, they did pay for an oil change.Initial Complaint

And reported to the salesman he said he would get it taken care of later ******* with the survey department called we kept I. Contact on getting the truck fixed and she gave me a date to have it back to the dealership for the hail damage fixed do to emergency we was not able to. I contacted the dealership service department and advised them that my husband had been in the hospital and then I would need to reschedule the appointment. We did a week and a half and finally was able to talk to ******* again she then informed me that she would have to talk to the general manager at the *** Cooper Dodge dealership and would get me an answer on whether they would continue to pay for the repairs for the h*** damage. She didnt contact me and told me due to my lack of filling out the survey that they do not have the funds to make the appropriate repairs to the truck that had already been set up to have done and that if more people wouldve filled out the surveys with a 10 score that there would be money available to make this right not to mention that they would not honor the price of the truck went into have to do financing was told that I would not pay interest and I had to pay interest on the first ************************************************************************************************************************* order to get the price that was online that I had to finance through Chrysler, when going into the finance office at the dealership, was then informed that the truck was not finance with Chrysler, but finance to commerce bank, but they were still honor that price if I continued with financing. ******* asked me to give ****** the salesman a glowing review even after knowing that he sold me a damaged truck and was not disclosed while discussing the truck that it would have to be finance in order to get it at the sale price of the Internet.Initial Complaint

I went to obtain the final oil change and tire rotation in a package that i had purchased on 9/28. I waited at the dealership for my car to be serviced. After about an hour, the technician came to tell me my car was ready. He made no mention of any service recommendations, nor were there any noted on my receipt. On 10/4, I received an email from the dealership with the list of recommendations, one of which was an engine air filter replacement. I received a second email on 10/14 with the same recommendations. Rather than pay the dealership the $60+ they wanted for a $20 filter, I purchased one locally. When my husband went to replace the filter, he discovered that the dealership had removed the air filter and left the clamps unhinged. So, I had driven my car for approximately 3 weeks without an air filter! When this dealership was Automax, I purchased two vehicles from them, solely because of the service department. Now that it is owned by *****************************, I can no longer trust the service department, since they removed my air filter and didn't even bother to tell me. When I bring my car in to be serviced, I would expect them to service in such a way that would NOT DAMAGE my vehicle. It's ridiculous to have incompetent service technicians and expect to keep the customers who have been loyal to the dealership for years. I don't know the damage, if any, that this may have caused, but I know if I have any engine issues in the near future, it is a result of this failure to provide service.Business Response

i was offered 2 thousand and 2 hundred and fifty dollars more for my Jeep Compass and it was my trad in for a Dodge 1500 the internet price for the dodge pick up was 29,500 and the extra 2 thousand for for jeep trade in was supposed to have been applied to the loan on the dodge pick up that was agreed to be 27,000 and it wasn't applied to anything. so when i got my bill of sale with my title it wasn't anywhere. i was lied to and when i asked them about my money they charged me with stuff that i did not want and i did not agree too. i want my 2 thousand and 2 hundred and fifty dollars back. and i would like to also report the general manager Jason for being rude and cussing me out in front of people. and then told me to never come back to Joe Cooper dodge in shawnee, oklahoma. because i wanted my money that was stolen from me.Business Response
