This has been happening off and on now for the last three years!! For whatever reason, Tinker Federal credit Union decides to place stop payments on my credit card payments made online subsequently I get charged late fees and get dings on my credit report and trying to get this resolved with the customer. Service is nothing more than a joke. These ladies are rude. They hardly ever answer the phone and they dont seem to be there to help at all. They operate their delinquent balances policy like a mob boss. They take out there fees in such a way that any following transactions will create more fees. I had overdraft protection up to $1000, I was having another problem with them stopping payments so I sent in some negative feedback through their app and within two days a fiery female voice left a nasty message saying that if I wanted to put them down then She was going to remove my overdraft protection permanently. I didnt think one individual at a credit union had that kind of power but boy was I wrong. My overdraft protection was removed and any attempt to regain it has been denied. This place needs new leadership

Went into TFCU to make my auto payment and update my billing preference. Upon doing business the teller informed me that I am a month ahead of schedule and can skip a payment. After giving me my receipt of proof of payment it included my balance, but after calling back to get my payoff I was informed that my balance wasn't what was reported on the receipt, and the option of a payment being skipped wasn't in the system, with a indeed payment for the month. Horrible system error and don't feel I should be subject to the misinformation.

I recently discovered that I am a victim of identity theft. While reviewing my credit report, I noticed an account that was opened in my name without my knowledge or consent. I immediately contacted the creditor to request proof of my authorization for this account. However, I have yet to receive any documentation or evidence from the creditor that verifies I initiated or authorized the opening of this account. Given the lack of evidence provided by the creditor, it is clear that this account does not belong to me and has been opened fraudulently using my personal information. Here are the details related to this incident that I found in my credit report.Account Name: ********************** FCU Account Number: ************ Opened Date: Feb 21, 2020 Higher Credit: $1,031

My mother has Alzheimers disease. In the process of getting approval for long term care, 5 years of bank statements are required. My brother is joint account holder on the account, and we have a *** with my brother being the one in charge. Despite these two things, Tinker refused to give the bank statements needed. They found a minor discrepancy of a date on the power of attorney and refused to honor it. We have since sold a house (after an attorney review of the **** but it wasnt good enough for them. I get the feeling there would have always been some issue with the **** The *** should have never even been in the equation since my brother is a joint account holder. They took an already tragic situation and purposely made it worse.

In January, 2024, TFCU received a request from DHS signed by your brother, who is not a joint owner on all of your mothers accounts, for 5 years of bank statements .  In order to complete the request to DHS, TFCU later received a *** naming your brother as the attorney-in-fact for your mother.  On January 22, 2024, TFCU honored the *** and mailed your mothers statements to DHS.   TFCU has received no additional requests from DHS.

Tinker filed a delinquent report to the credit agencies stating I did not make a payment on a loan. Tinker has attempted to add over $1,000 in insurance on my loan. I made the full payment on the loan that both Tinker and I agreed too. I already have insurance and have provided all information to Tinker. The insurance is the same on more than one loan, so they know the insurance is valid. They filed a delinquent payment on the "insurance" amount that I have never agreed to, never signed a contract for, and never took a loan on. They agree that I made the payment on the loan, but I didn't pay the increased amount. This false report has now stopped me attempting to.purchase a house since it has destroyed my credit. Tinker FCU filed a false report to the credit agencies damaging my credit and history.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The institution made no good faith effort to warn me about the transactions from gemini-daytrading whatsoever and furthermore made no effort to contact me about the reports I sent via email in December and January regarding the issues at all. This is a patently false canned response from TFCU that should be rejected on its merits. I request full reimbursement of the lost funds within 30 days. I did not authorize transactions to gemini-daytrading and no TFCU records can show I authorized them.

In October 2023 I called Tinker Federal Credit Union to let them know that someone had hacked my ******* account online. They placed several crazy orders with multiples of same items. Four cars arrived at my house at the same time to deliver these crazy orders. We received letters in January saying this was resolved and a permanent credit was applied to my account. Then today, February 19, I received another letter saying I would be recharged because ******* sent them receipts. Its crazy! The orders are super weird, and the ** address shows to be in *******. I live in ********.Also, a couple of months ago my teenage son fell for the phone scam that everyone knows about where you get a text saying your delivery has been delayed and you need to enter you info in order to get your order. The scammers stole his info and placed several crazy TikTok orders. TFCU refused to take care of this issue too, and that one was hundreds of dollars. We have been Tinker members for years and used them for all of our banking needs. I no longer recommend them to anyone. They are not taking care of us as members. Any sane person could look at both scams and see that that it exactly what they are. As a matter of fact it shouldve been flagged and stopped before purchases could even be completed. I can no longer trust my bank. But since we have all of our loans there, we feel stuck. TFCU has become a very bad business.

On 12/7/2021 I financed a SECURED car loan with Tinker CU in the amount of $29,359.00 for a 2019 Dodge Charger that I was purchasing on behalf of my son from a private owner. We all met at Tinker CU to sign all applicable paperwork with a loan officer. On 6/19/2022 my son was involved in an accident in this vehicle and taken into custody for suspected DUI. The car was taken into evidence by Tarrant County PD for the criminal case and stored for months in their DUI investigation lot. At no time were myself or my son informed that the car was eligible for pick up. I continued to my on time payments of the note as well as CPI FORCED INSURANCE. On 5/19/2023 my son was incarcerated as a result of the accident. I contacted Tinker CU on multiple occasions attempting to file insurance claims for the car while they told me that I needed to 1st find the car in order to file the claim. Upon investigation I found that Tarrant County PD released the car to ***************** in 10/2023 . Upon contacting ***************** they advised me that the car was AUCTIONED OFF in 11/2023. I asked how could this happen without the lienholder (Tinker CU) being informed & they advised me that there was NO RECORD OF A LIEN ON THE ****** I have contacted Tinker CU multiple times and now they are lying saying that they mailed out a title package to my address on file with the documentation needed to update the title & secure THEIR LIEN POSITION. Docs have no date listed on ********** have furnished no tracking info to prove issuance or receipt of **********. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THESE DOCUMENTS IN PERSON OR AT MY PO BOX & DOUBT VERY SERIOUSLY IF A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION WOULD MAKE IT THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER TO SECURE THEIR LIEN POSITION ON A SECURED LOAN WITHOUT ANY FOLLOW UP ON WHETHER IT WAS ACTUALLY DONE! I have been paying car note & insurance on a car for MONTHS that has literally been sold to someone else!

I received a statement for my TFCU Credit Card while I was out of the state on Temporary Duty with the Air Force so I was delayed in paying the $25 annual fee. This is not a card I have used in probably 2 years so I was not expecting the bill so when I returned I attempted to pay it. On October 12th I tried logging into my account in order to pay the bill but it kept giving me an error. TFCU was already closed for the day so I called on 10/13 to try and get a password reset. They informed me I was locked out of my account and would not give me access again until my $25 annual fee was paid because I was 22 days past due. I was told I would have to make a payment over the phone which I agreed to. When I went to pay the card they told me the name of whatever account I was using would have to match my TFU account. My ********************** account was still in my maiden name because I no longer live local to ******** and do not use that account often so they told me I was unable to pay it. I asked about getting the account changed over to my married name and an employee by the name of ************************* told me to email a copy of my marriage license and my new license. I immediately sent it over to her and I inquired how I could get my bill paid in the interim. She looked up a local bank here in ************ called Service First, which is a partner bank that I should be able to pay in person. I went to that bank on 10/14 and they could not see the **** card bill so I was unable to pay it. I called TFCU back immediately and asked what I should do since I live thousands of miles away and am still waiting on the name change to go through. They told me to mail a check to their PO Box and that the name change would take 5 business days to process. I dropped a check in the mail that day and kept checking to see if I regained access to my online account daily. ** Story Continued in Attached PDF**
