Got an auto loan for about $14,000 with TFCU. The money was sent into the account but never transferred into the loan account. The bill wasnt paid since July of 2023, a simple fix if I had gotten a single phone call about it. With no notice whatsoever- they repossessed my vehicle as collateral, locked my account, and will not provide me with any information outside of speaking to their lawyer. I would like my vehicle back and the chance to refinance through another creditor with the vehicle in my possession. Not only that but I would like the repossession taken off of my credit report.

My issue isnt specifically with this branch its with the call center or wherever the main phone number is located. The credit union as a whole is horrible they have so many fees that other credit unions dont charge they are all about profit and not about the member. I called Monday about a fraudulent charge and nothing was done to return my money to me or secure my account. Well I check my account today and another charge from the same retailer was posted to my account. I called again and nothing that would be useful to me was done. My card was deactivated only. No money returned me I was told I need to wait 10 business days. The rep also lied to me about being able to reverse or cancel transactions so Im assuming Ill never get my money back. But if my account goes in the negative they will gladly charge multiple fees to my account. The customer service is horrible and I dont even want to do business with them anymore. I choose them because they are close to my home but Im regretting it. Theres been multiple occurrences that prove to me they shouldnt even be in business anymore. They are also outdated with certain things like the atm. Its just a bad experience all together besides the few tellers that work inside this branch.

Hello, My name is ***********************. Me and my family have been wrongfully misguided and told wrong about getting the final preparations done before my grandpa passed away. My grandpa ******************* made a phone call to verify that his funds were good and ready with the trust that he had setup with the bank account. The money had two different accounts setup both adding up to about $300,000 from what I have been told. Well before my grandpas passing away the bank had my aunt *********************** and ******************* added as trustees on the account. The bank of Tinker Credit Federal Union in ******, ** stated to my family and grandpa in person before his passing that everything was setup good to go with the trust. Now only after his death my family has been told differently all of a sudden and they are saying that they need to get their attorney evolved in order for us to get the money distributed amongst the family members who are current members at the bank. This is one of the many issues that the bank has mistreated my entire family but this tops over all the issues. This should not happen to anyonelse especially when being told that the preparations are all in order as planned both in person and by phone from members of the bank.

In April 2023 my 19 yr old son lost his wallet. His ID, SSN and bank card and member card were all in his wallet. Instead of him contacting the bank to cancel his account he just stopped using the account and had his paycheck sent to cashapp. Apparently on April 24th two $3000 checks were deposited via mobile check. Money was withdrawn from atm and card was used for multiple transactions at ******** Tinker FCU did not contact me not one time regarding my sons account. They did not contact my son until 6/7/2023 when they sent a letter to our old address. My son has NEVER deposited a check for that amount and two in the same day should have prompted a red flag. ***** should recognize unusual account activity and we should be notified. My son received a letter July 21st from ******* ********** agency regarding a $8905 debt to TFCU. I called TFCU to see if the collection letter was legit or a scam. TFCU confirmed the debt and gave me a lawyers contact info. The lawyer provided copies of the checks and transaction details and my son did not do what they are claiming. His signature does not match the checks and he has never used mobile banking to deposit checks. I emailed member services asking why I wasnt notified before it was sent to collections and then sent to a lawyer. If we had been notified we could have reported fraud. I have my own account with **********************. They have my email, phone number and physical address. *** called a few times for my account and my sons account was never mentioned. Instead of TFCU answering my questions they locked me out of my account. I cant log in or transfer money or use my debit card. I have bills set up for autopay and now I need to find a new company to bank with. TFCU could have responded to my questions or told me my account would be locked. The way they are handling this is extremely unprofessional. I am inconvenienced by my account being locked. Now they wont speak to me they just refer me to the lawyer for my sons account

I am rejecting this response because: As soon as we received the collection letter from ************** I called TFCU. No one will speak to me because they have sent the debt to a lawyers office ***********************. TFCU refers me to the lawyer who is not interested in hearing that this is fraud he just wants to collect the debt. My son didnt report his wallet stolen like I advised him to.

I had a car get repossessed with TFCU probably nine years ago and I have made a few payments here and there but was never able to pay the full balance(covid and what not). I was looking into a recent check because it seemed very light and to my surprise after almost a decade of no contact, TFCU is just garnishing my wages for 25% of my check. How is this legal? If this persists I will be forced to leave a job of 3+ years in order to find something with full pay.

I have financed a car through TFCU since 9/21/2021. Throughout these almost 2 years the car has been insured through various insurance companies always carrying between 2k-2.5k deductibles and have never had any notice that this was an issue that needed correction or had charges as a result. However upon changing companies again in 12/08/2022, Starting 02/10/2023 CPI charges have begun to be applied to our loan which in turn has been reducing our credit by over 100 points. We weren't properly told until 06/07/2023 that these charges were being applied due to the deductible being too high, and needing to be lowered to 1k. Even upon lowering the deductible they refuse to remove prior months worth of CPI charges amounting to 780$. This is the exact same coverage we've carried on this car for the prior 2 years with zero issue. We've been getting run into circles about this issue where TFCU attempts to lay blame on our current insurance company, or prior companies while they fraudulently charge us for CPI when the car has had full comprehensive coverage the entire time of ownership, and had never once in the prior 2 years until 3 weeks ago been told that the deductible amounts we carry are too high.

I paid two Tinker accounts off 9/21/2022. Tinker continued to report late payments to my credit bureaus. I have receipts and letters from Tinkers own Attorney which I attached showing they were paid in full. Tinker asked I send them proof which I did 12/15/2022. However, they still were reporting wrong until I got my attorney involved. Currently Transunion and Equifax show correct, but Experian does not. Experian shows the last payment being in Sept 2022, but then shows late payments for Nov and Dec *********************************************************************************** full in September 2022? The accounts state a certain amount was written off which again is incorrect. The accounts were paid in full and should reflect that. This has ruined my credit score and approval with other lenders due to Tinkers disorganization and lack of communication about this matter. Tinker had me reach and send information to one of their local OKC attorneys on 12/15/2022 also which I did and the individual **** was not only rude but did not understand the difference between a paid account and a settlement and was no help. I am giving Tinker one more chance to resolve this and correctly report to Experian before I file a FCRA complaint and a lawsuit.

I made payments on auto draft. No payments were missing. I received several letters about proof of insurance, which I provided. There was no lapse in my coverage from when I bought the Sea-Doos. They filed a subpoena to repo the seadoos, and want me to pay $2280 to remove the repo status. There is no reason to justify this amount. It feels like extortion.

On 5/2/2023 my truck was stolen out of my driveway. Turns out it was for a fraudulent repossession from a 3rd party when i clearly have paid my vehicle off and have a free and clear title with no liens or encumbrances owed. This is completely unacceptable and i cant even reach the 3rd party company. They stole from me and cost me work and have all my credit and debit cards in the vehicle. They are thieves

TFCU informed me that a new contactless card would be issued to align with updated technology. I received the new card, activated it, updated ****************, and destroyed old card. The new card has the same number but a different CVV and expiration date. To my amazement, the old card is still activate and has the ability to be used creating the potential for fraud.I called the customer service number and was told that the old card would remain active and that I, as the customer, would need to monitor my account and file dispute charges for anything that was not authorized. The rep also mentioned that if a merchant held the old card number in their system, it could be charged as a valid transaction medium. How irresponsible and deflecting to put this burden on the customer who did not request the card. At a minimum the credit union should have created a new number. However, if I want that option, I need to go into a branch and follow the process. This is not good customer service or advocacy. This doe not promote account security and a HUGE fail.
