I took my car in to have air installed from R12 to 134A and the owner had my car for 5 weeks, then called to say it was ready. When I picked up the car air was working fine, but when I parked in the garage overnight, the next day my battery was dead which had never happened before. I charged the battery overnight and when I hooked cables to terminals, I noticed the compressor clutch was staying engaged drawing from the battery. I called owner back and he had me bring my car back in, but weeks later. I feel since I had already paid in full for services, I should have been back in ****. None the less, the second time he had it for another month and still didn't fix the problem. My car had a new paint job, and I ask not to have it outside in the 100-degree weather, and every time I popped up unexpected, there my car is outside in back and nothing has been done to it. When I got it home, I had hard water spots all over it. Car is BLACK!!!! Now I had to get it buffed out and also get someone else to finish the job of the A/C. Bad business practices. Don't take your car there!!! Take it to a more Reputable shop that does better business. Youve been warned!!!!!

I took my **** E350 van to ****** Auto Air in June 2019 because my A/C evaporator door was not opening and I wasnt getting airflow out the vents. Within two hours of dropping off the van, I received a text message informing me they discharged my system and I needed a new compressor., evaporator, condenser, expansion valve and receiver dryer at the cost of *******. I told them to stop working and I would be over to pick up my van. The shop owner came out with a cutaway view condenser in an effort to try an sell me an entirely new new A/C system. I asked to see the screen on the o****** (expansion valve) and saw absolutely no debris indicating a failing compressor. When I asked for him to install the o****** then re service it, he declined unless I was willing to buy the new A/C system. Long story short, he kept 5 Lbs. of my R-134A refrigerant , then charged me two hours labor, and I left there with no A/C to drive across the desert in July to get home to **********. ****** Auto Air was once an honest and respectable shop, Now it is just greedy and dishonest.
