As requested, Mrach 19, 2024, I Dialed the Daytime Number provided in the complaint, and left a message for ************** to call me back and I will answer any questions that he may have. It looks like we called a cell number, but it was not complete in the attached photo. With out more information it is difficult to research more about why we were calling this number or the actual person we were trying to reach. Aberdeen helps Defendant's that have fallen out of compliance with judges' orders to get back in compliance. We work with many Municipalities and Counties her in ********. If ************** does not have any outstanding Issues or Cost related warrants, then he nothing to worry about and we called a number for a defendant that we were looking for. If ************** would provide Aberdeen with the number that was dialed, we will remove that number, so he is not bothered in the future with another call. I am not sure what else Aberdeen can do with this complaint. If ************** will give me a call at ************ I will remove the number that we called and answer any questions he has.Initial Complaint

Aberdeen Collections and the Oklahoma courts have alleged that in 2006 in a county I've never been in, hours away from where I was living at the time, I was pulled over for not having a license. Details from the courts online allege I was driving a 2006 white truck.. I have never been to that county and I was DEPLOYED to Baghdad at the time. I still have no idea who they pulled over, but it is impossible it was me. I have told the court clerk and Aberdeen several times that I was out of the country at the time, I have never driven or owned a white truck. I don't even like trucks. They have contacted all members of my family and wife for some reason. My brother has several times given my info when he was pulled over, also driving without a license, so that's my guess what happened. This needs to be resolved. It's been 16 years...Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/19) */ On 7/7/2016 Aberdeen talked to Mr. ******* *****'s wife in an attempt to reach him about the failure to appear bench warrant that was issued for OPERATING MV WITHOUT BEING LICENSED (EXPIRED) in Payne County, Oklahoma. on 6/26/2017 Aberdeen contacted is Mother who informed us he was deployed and would not be stateside until 2018. On 1/19/2018 and 5/16/2019 we reached out to his Mother again trying to reach Mr. *****. On 3/25/2021 we did talk to Mr. ***** about his issue with Payne County. he was not concerned with the warrant. He said that he had contacted the Court and had heard nothing back. On 5/26/2022 we talked to the defendants brother who said he would give his brother, Mr. ***** the message. In the above complaint Mr. ***** has shared that in the past his brother has given his information out when pulled over. There are two ways to resolve this with the Court in Payne County. The first is to pay the $388.57 fine and collect the money from his brother. the 2nd option is the file an Identity theft report with the Sheriff in Payne county against his brother. The problem is the court believes that it has the correct person, Mr. *****. He has also admitted that he believes that his brother is responsible for committing fraud against the Judicial system and stealing his Identity. If Mr. ***** would like discuss this further with Me. There is no statute of limitations on Court Cost and fines and this had not been turned over to a credit bureau since it is not a consumer debt. This company has been contacting everyone with the same last name and calling regarding a fine that was taken care of in 2019. It's to the point they are sending elderly family members letters and calling them. They need to stop we've informed them that this fine was taken care of. This is harassmentBusiness Response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/06/15) */ Aberdeen spoke to Ms. *******'s mother twice before talking with her personally on 10/27/2021. At that time she informed us that she thought she had taken care of the Citation with the City of Maysville, OK We contacted the Court Clerk to see if it had been sent in error. The Court has not record of this being taken care of. We tried to call her back 30 min. later but no answer. We have talked to other people at that telephone number since 10/27/2021 and they said they would pass on the message. Ms ******* has not returned those attempt to help her compliant with the judges order in the City of Maysville. I am sorry that she thinks we are harassing her but our intent is to help her take care of and get this warrant recalled so she will not have to worry about this. She may contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX if she would like to discuss this further. I spoke with the court Clerk of Maysville, OK today about this account and the two traffic tickets she received in March 2019 for Running a stop sign and failure to carry current owners verification form. The City of Maysville still show and outstanding balance. She was turned of to DPS and these Tickets are in the ODIS system (State wide Warrant system used in Oklahoma) in Oklahoma. If Ms. ******* has receipts showing that this has been taken care of we can help clear up any confusion. As of today the City of Maysville still shows that she has not taken care off these issues.
