Around August 8th or 9th, 2021, I purchased gas from the Quiktrip at 6050 White Horse Rd with my brand new 2021 Tacoma. A few days later, my engine quit working when I tried to accelerate. I took it to the Toyota mechanic to get it fixed. They tell me that the fuel injectors were damaged, which was caused by the gas. QuikTrip gas is guaranteed. I put in my claim and they said they would reimburse me after I fix the car. Once I sent it in, they denied the reimbursement because they said the damages were caused by a "carbon build-up". Nowhere in the mechanic report does it say that it was caused by a carbon build-up, and it does not make sense for that to be the cause, as the vehicle was not even a month old at the time. I have left multiple messages as they do not return my calls to fix the issue.Business response

On 8/14/21 at 4:04pm I purchased fuel from Quick Trip at 1301 NW Woods Chapel Rd. After driving my work vehicle(tow truck) for about an hour it started to smoke and sputter. I took the vehicle to a mechanic and was advised on 8/19 that there was regular fuel in the vehicle when I purchased diesel fuel. Which my engine some problems. I contacted the corporate office of QT 8/19 to notify them of the issue. I spoke with ***********, he advised me that he was able to review the video footage to see that I did in fact use the diesel pump. He said that they would take care of the vehicle repair after sending me a packet to complete and send back verifying that I purchased fuel there on the days leading to that date. After he received the documentation he stated QT would take care of the repair but after getting the estimate from the mechanic he stopped responding to meBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/12/03) */ When Mr. ****** notified us of the issues with his vehicle, we reviewed our Guaranteed Gasoline program with Mr. ******. Mr. ****** provided QuikTrip with an estimate for repairs to his vehicle. Upon discussion with the facility that provided the estimate, they were unable to ascertain that the fuel that Mr. ****** purchased from QuikTrip is what caused the issues with his vehicle. The fuel claim for Mr. ****** has been forwarded to our Corporate Claim department for further review. I had an incident where my work boots were damaged at the gas pumps at a quiktrip location Store #777 on Fulton Industrial Blvd Atlanta GA. I was at the gas pumps and stepped out into a mixture of heavy cat litter and gas on the ground. The mixture got into my boots and I wiped it out/off as much as I could. I made contact with the manager and filed a request to remedy the situation. I was contacted by a rep with QT, *****, and he told me to provide a receipt and the boots would be replaced. I went to the ******** store where I purchased the boots and learned that the store was transitioning there systems and I had to wait until it was completed. I subsequently advised ***** and some time passed before I could get the receipt to him. I contracted Covid and I learned that ***** had left the company. I made contact with **************, from my understanding he is in charge of the Atlanta division, and he picked the claim up. At this point, it is beyond a reasonable expectation for providing a decision on the matter. I was assured that the boots would be replaced but I have not had any correspondence from the company, nor do I have confidence that the issue was taken seriously.Business response
