We have never missed a payment in 4 years and significantly paid the loan down. We filed a claim for hail roof damage to our ins company ******************** for which we have been a customer for 35 years. The leak caused a fire in the light fixture in our pantry. That was how we found the leak. There is a leak now everytime it rains. We called ************************ in Grove, they came out, did an estimate and took pictures. The adjuster came and confirmed the hail damage. On Sept 25 a check made out to us and TFCU was sent to us for endorsement, we immediately sent it to TfCU. Denise, at TFCU asked for pictures and the estimate. Harper complied. We went ahead and sent the repair company the 500.00 deductible. TfCU is still holding our check. Since Sept 25th we have had two major rainstorms, the latest today. Our ins check? Still in the hands of TFCU. I asked two weeks ago please just send the check to ******* so we can get the work done!!!! They refused to do that now another storm has hit last night and today. I called today asking why we hadn't gotten the check and Denise said they will send to ******* not us!!!!!!! Why weren't we told this sooner before more damage is done!!!! Our floors may be rotten by now...more damage.
I would stress to anyone not to deal with TFCU. We are the customer!!!!!!!! WE pay the insurance!!!!!!! To say I am livid is an understatement. If we have incurred more damage because of their negligence we will be seeing an attorney.
