I got car & home insurance through Tulsa Insurance Guy, after recently moving into the area, last September 2021. My credit card was charged on September 30th for 6 months service for both, as I said I would be moving next spring. I was charged, but I did not receive the declaration page before being charged, so had no idea of costs or coverage. I'm getting only 20% of the coverage for 3 times the price of my old insurance. I had to call repeatedly to get a contract to sign. I didn't receive it until Oct 16. Although I was not informed of it, a home inspection was required, & I was threatened with cancellation on November 5th, when the inspector tried to make an unannounced & unauthorized inspection, but was blocked by the locked gate, as I was not home. The inspection didn't occur until Dec 2nd, & then I was informed that I had to make improvements!! This should all have been done PRIOR to the signing the contract & accepting payment. On Dec 9th, I was locked out of my car, & thus the roadside assistance number & phone contact number. I called both Mercury and Tulsa Insurance Guy. To this date, 4 months later, I never received a return call. On March 1, without my permission & without my authorization, my credit card was charged for home & car payments. I cancelled my home insurance on March 16th (it expired on March 30; ****XXXXXXXXXX). Although promised, I still have not received the unauthorized home insurance refund. When I call my previous insurance carrier, although my coverage was cancelled for over a year, I get immediate communication & service. I am appalled by the lack of response, lack of professionalism & lack of curtesy. I want a full refund of the second payment of $555.50. Thank you.
