I came to ***** to buy a ********** eclipse from hi tech motors. The car they tried to sell me was not the car they had in the pictures. So they sold me a **** escape for $2000. The **** escape has had the odometer changed on it. The original miles on the vehicle by the computer was ******. The odometer miles and miles on the title says ******. They did not disclose this. They did not disclose the fact it was leaking out a quart in f power steering fluid a day nor did they disclose the fact that the sunroof has no seal and when it rained it soaked everything inside. Now the starter goes out. They agree to cover the cost of the starter and I would do the work. They take me to *****'s u pull it and I pull the starter. While I'm doing that the carlot person leaves me at the junk yard and refuse to say for the part after they said they would. I have put a new window tract and controls on the driver side window and put a new power steering pump on it. They knew about everything wrong,even the mileage and never said a word. Just blocked my calls. The vehicle is unsafe and would not pass a safety inspection and they knew this when they sold it and never said a word. They lied and mislead me on the ********** eclipse in the beginning just to get my and my money here and get me stranded. And now I'm stranded in *****. MI have witnesses to this as well as documentation on them rolling back the odometer.Customer Answer

They agreed to pay for the starter and took me out to salvage yard to pull it. When I was pulling the starter they left me at the salvage yard and blocked all my calls. I do have proof that they rolled the odometer back ******. I also filed a police report and it was accepted under fraud by deception which I have a copy of you need it. I also have a copy of the last contract from the last person they sold this vehicle to before me. It will not pass safety inspection. So far I have purchased everything to fix window and fixed it. I purchased the starter and ignition switch and have put it in. I purchased the power steering pump and put it in. The last person to have this vehicle only had it 3 months before returning it because of the same issues. None of these issues not the ****** mile difference between the odometer and computer was disclosed to me for which I have a witness to this. I can't even drive the vehicle due to the safety issues at hand. I would just like my money back so I can drive something dependable and drive home. I live in ****** and have been stuck in ***** ******** since all this living on the streets. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We have bent backwards to help ********************. He came to buy a car, and he was on foot, so we helped him get a 2001 **** Escape for only $1750 plus $250 processing fee. He test drove the vehicle and it was in great shape when he picked it up. He is a mechanic and checked the vehicle thoroughly for almost half the day before he bought it. He called for help the first time and we helped him. He calls again that he needs a starter. He said all he needs is a ride to *****'s self-pull to get a starter and this won't take more than an hour. We sent a driver to pick him up and took him to *****'s. Our guy waited outside for 2 hours and then ******************** walked out asking him for money. We have spent so much time and effort to make him happy for a $1750 car and because we knew that he will never leave us alone we asked him to sign a Goodwill repair acknowledgment after the last time we helped him. He kept harassing us about other things, calling and cursing everyone so we had to block his number. This car was sold Originally AS IS and he signed all the documents.Even after that we still tried to help him and keep him happy. Every time he called,he threatened us with BBB and UMVPC so finally we told him go ahead and complain because you will never be happy.

I am rejecting this response because: it is a lie. The power steering pump was dumping a quart of fluid a day on the ground. I paid for a new pump and had it installed. When the starter went out they agreed to pay for the starter and I would cover installation on it. They did nothing. They left me at the ************ 7 miles away from my vehicle. I have the salvage yard as witnesses to this as well as the starter was out of the vehicle already so the car lot employee was only sitting there ************************************************************* his vehicle. The Tulsa police department accepted the report under fraud by Deception and that's when I found out they have done this to multiple people on multiple occasions. I even have the last contract of the last person who has this vehicle and the problems she had with it as well as the problem she had with the car lot on it. I also have the text and calls from the car lot stating that there was nothing I could do about it just to deal with it. I can't even drive the vehicle because it won't pass a safety inspection . In fact I would bet my life alot of their vehicles won't. As of today they have done nothing to rectify the situation but lie about it. They falsely advertised a ********** eclipse that they did not have and tried to sell me a different vehicle. They kept me at the car lot all day by lying to me and saying they had the eclipse and the keys were locked up. I will be pursuing the criminal charges against them as well as the false advertisement. I cannot believe they would lie with all the witnesses against them. Even the last owner of the vehicle will happily testify on what they did to her.Business Response

Like I said before you will never satisfy this person. We can go back and forth for months arguing about what happened. We sent our employee to pick him up and he waited for hours for him. He asked him multiple times if he is ready to leave but he kept playing games like he is doing now. Our employee doesn't even drink alcohol so there is no way he will be hungover. As BBB you will never be able to satisfy this person, he lives in a motel and wants everything for free and blames the whole world for his miserable life.... I tried to be professional with my reply but sorry i had to reply this way because this is a waste of my and your time. It is a $1700 vehicle that he is excepting to be brand new. I bought a car November 2022 , with a 3,000 down payment. it is barley December 2022 and the car will not drive they sold the car to me with 30, 000 worth of damage to the car. Also promising me that any problems wrong with the car will be fixed through the extended warranty. Less than 1 week later i am having complications with the warranty and now i do not have a car to drive. We promised him to fix the oil leak and we did. Then he comes back wanting us to do timing chain, serpentine belt, brand new battery.... We did not sell a brand-new car so you can't expect to get all new things. Out of courtesy we told him we will still do the serpentine belt for him and exchange the battery since we bought it brand new from AutoZone. I payed 1800 on a 5000 car august 1rst 2022.Mazar(salesman) tried to fix the a.c it didn't work.He said come back tomorrow he will fix it for free. Before I signed paperwork(in front of co-owner misty)&(mazar) I stated this 117 degree weather is dangerous for me& my kids.I called mazar the next day he didn't answer.I called misty she said come back the next day. A different mechanic tried to fix it for a hour misty said it is broken& I'll have to pay for a new ac compressor and money to pay her mechanic I told her Mazar said no charge she said now it is.I asked if I can switch the car for one with the same price.She said I will have to wait until mike(the owner)comes back in a week.I called mazar he didn't answer. Days later,Mazar told me if I give him 75$ he will find a ac compressor & put it in for free.I gave him the 75$ he didn't answer the phone or door for a couple days. I called again he told me to bring the car, I sat with his wife for 4 hours inside of the shop he said it's not working to come back tomorrow.I called the next day mazar said he won't be able to fix my car and hung up on me.I went to were mike was and told him what happened.With me and my kids drenched in sweat, mike said what do I want him to do? It's not his problem and to leave him the fuck alone.I started crying and called the police.Days after that I called misty and stated I cannot drive in this car to make payments until the air is fixed she said I can pay when I have the money,it won't be up for repo.They tried to send me the title to the car,I didn't see it in the mail,so it got sent back,October 28th2022 my car got hit in a police chase &it got totaled.The person who hit me they have statefarm insurance I called to make a claim,statefarm called mike on 3way and asked if he was repoing my car he said no.I called statefarm days later to get a rental car they stated mike is now repoing the car.I won't get any money or a car.He is pulling a huge insurance scam.He is a fraud.Please help.Business Response

She said she doesn't care and want a CHEAP car that runs good. She contacted our office and said she wants the ac fixed but she had no money. Then couple weeks later she came to the office and tells misty that she gave one of our mechanics $75 without consulting our office to fix her AC. She didn't go through our company, she bypassed us and asked our mechanic behind our back to do a side job for her which is we don't care because our mechanics are contracted. I won't get into what happened between them because that's not my business. She NEVER MADE ONE PAYMENT on the vehicle and we contacted her numerous times to collect but she kept ignoring us and never call us back. She drove the car for 6 months for free, she hid the car from our repo companies. Yes I said companies because we hired 2 different companies to find the vehicle for over 3 months. Luckily While the car was parked it got hit so we picked up our car. We also paid for towing and storage by the way because she had no money. she breeched her financing contract and she got repoed. Mike called us a year ago 2020 and said we owed a final payment of 186$ and the car is paid in full and we can get the title. A year later they have not called me or sent me any mail or contacted any of my references on my application. They repoed my car over $209!!!! A YEAR LATER WITHOUT AN OFFICIAL REPO LETTER!!!! Now they want an extra $400 towing fee to pick up my car!!! A YEAR LATER.Business Response
