    ******** Barbeque Pit charged me for a food order to be delivered and cancelled the order and has not refunded my money charged to my bank account. I have spoken to the manager of store number OR-**** This was on June 11, 2022. $55.07 was charged to my account. I have requested a refund and the manager looked up my order and said it was cancelled due to lack of food. Manager said my refund should happen in a few days but no refund to date.

    Hi,

     

    This complaint went in from one of our guests at Dickeys.  The only order we have in our system for ************************* was not on June 11th and it was NOT for $55.07.  I have however refunded him for his order and have attached the proof document.

    Please see below.  I have went above and beyond to help this guy get a refund.  I have told him he needs to go to grub hub and talk to them as I do not have an order he is referring to.  I have refunded him $41.00 for an order I do have for him.  I ha e attached pictures to prove I don't have.  

     

    He had now become aggressive, for something he has not shown me proof of.  He was charged through grubhub.  I have provided BBB proof I do not have his order.  He can also dispute it through is bank.

     

    He said it's because of our poor documenting.  Well that is not the case.  Every order comes through our computer.  As I have shown. 

     

    I cannot do a refund on an order I do not have e in my system.

    The picture is every single ****** I have for all 4 of my stores since I opened.  I show the one for $41.00 is all.

     

    Please close this complaint.

    Oh I have contacted the Customer.  He feels I still owe him $55.07.  He has provided nothing to show $55.07 on his specific date.  I cannot refund him money on an order that I do not show in my system.  

     

    I also gave him an alternate option to contact grubhub since that is who he placed the order through and ask them to refund his order.  Or he can contact his bank and dispute the charges he said he had.

     

    But as I have shown BBB and him.  I have NOTHING in my system for the date he specified or the charge amount.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    This business is essentially calling me a liar because of their poor bookkeeping. I have found no evidence of a refund in my credit card accounts and certainly not for the full amount. I have exchanged several emails with a ****. At This point I don't expect this business to do the right thing.

    I am at a loss to understand why this business would have provided a refund (can't find it anywhere) for an order I received and consumed, it just makes no sense. I have supplied this business with screen shots of the order and a statement from Grubhub to contact Dickies "directly". Each time I deal with this business the story changes. I have received an email cc from them assigning an employee to find something? My first contact with a manager confirmed my order but now it is gone, what's up with that?
