As part of buying my house, I agreed to split the cost of a new heat pump with the seller. I spoke with a company rep twice about the proposal and he never shared that the replacement pump would not meet code OR that I would not be able to open the door to change the filter because of its proximity to other equipment. They installed anyway, only for me to discover these problems, although I paid half the cost, and they knew that. Unethical. Their response - they didnt have to share that information with me. Dont use them.

There was nothing unethical about our installation. We were hired by a remodel contractor to replace the unit like for like. I personally discussed the options of installing a furnace in the garage, and what those costs would entail, but it was too much. The contractor should've have the old, non-functioning pool equipment removed. Unfortunately, due to how the come is constructed, and the retaining wall, there isn't anything that can be done outside of removing the pool equipment. We're happy to show her how to change her filter.

They did a upscale of installation on my unit. It looks like some hillbilly installed it. I was sold a heat pump even though I only needed AC because of good incentives on HP. Not sure who saw incentives but it was not me. Beings that I heat with radiant floor heat I did not need heat coils in the unit so they were returned for a credit. Never saw credit. After installation the unit ran pretty much non stop and I had debris coming out of my vents so I had ductwork cleaned. Come to find out the vent work connecting AC to filtration system was not connected so hot air and insulation were being pulled out of attic and blown into house. Woodwards did a super bad job for this customer. Never again. Shame on you *********************** for taking of seniors

Hi ******,We always offer a heat pump when a customer has an electric air handler. It's best practice for reducing utility bills. I do greatly apologize for the mishap. We would have been more than happy to send an installer/ technician out if we'd known here is a problem. I understand you may be upset or frustrated, however, not allowing us to correct our mistake isn't fair. That said, it's your home and your decision so I have to respect that. In no way, shape or form did we take advantage of you. We provided a prompt service and served you well. Yes, there was an error on our end. We are all human and make mistakes. When actually given the opportunity we ALWAYS correct them. Making such false claims in unfair to our company and future customers. In the future I recommend allowing folks to properly make corrections, or at the very least contact them to let them know there is an issue. A person can't fix something when they aren't informed of a problem.Thank you for the business. Please reach out should you choose too.
