The patient was initially scheduled 05.04.22 for a rash located on several skin surfaces. At the time of service, she presented with a ****************** card. **************** was only eligible for ******** Part A (hospital) on the date of service. She was seen previously at urgent care and prescribed triamcinolone cream which she had not used prior to her appointment with our office. ********************* PA-C performed a full body skin check. Per ****** findings, there was no evidence of anthropod bites, *******, or live insects, however there were a few scattered excoriations (skin-picking). ***** thoroughly explained to **************** that she did not see any evidence of infestation and advised that it was OK to use OTC anti-itch products such as calamine or ***** lotion as needed for itching. While ***** could not substantiate **************** claims of human fleas, she did perform a full body skin exam and provided a thorough explanation to the patient with recommendations. We believe the charges are justified. Additionally, if *************** can provide insurance coverage information for provider fees, as long as within timely filing guidelines, we are happy to attempt rebilling. However, there is no coverage with ******** for provider services at this time.

In August 2022, *************** contacted the ********************** and our company agreed to discount the services at that time. *************** also agreed to a four month payment plan to pay off the balances after discounts. The patient made a payment in October and November 2022, but has failed to make her agreed upon payments. As explained by our billing office, no additional discount will be given.
