I hired his firm to represent me in a Contempt of Court case after my divorce. I can easily say that this is the worst experience I have ever had with an attorney. There were egregious mistakes made, gross mishandling, and duplicate/overbillings. I was billed for 11 hours in one day by him alone (that did not include the 2 hours for his paralegal) for a 2-hour court hearing. While in court he was not prepared and did not even have proof of service. We had to wait 3 hours for it to be delivered to the courthouse, which he billed me for of course. To make matters worse he called it a "Client Meeting" on his bill. Only after this did his paralegal call me to tell me that they would not do anymore work unless I paid them the $7k balance that I was completely unaware of. This was after paying him close to $3k. Email and phone calls were returned days later if ever at all. In the end I had to fire his firm and complete my own case. His last message to me was "News to me" when I told him that we did not have all the paperwork needed to have the judgement executed. The level of unprofessionalism from his paralegal to the questions I had on his bill was appalling. She was hostile and told me someone would contact me, that was 6 months ago. I now find out that he sent me to collections when I have not received a bill since October of 2023. To top it off, the Attorney Fees motion that he prepared not only had the "respondent" getting the attorney fees it only included the balance due not the amount that I had already paid. I paid close to $10k for a 2-hour court hearing. Therefore, he got paid but I did not receive anything for what I had already paid to him from my ex. The only person that he looks out for is himself. He does not care at all about his clients or their well-being. He is an overpriced ambulance chaser.
