I called this business to fix my car. I called them, the owner came our and scanned the cars computer and said we need this part. ***(the owner of On Call Repair), said i can buy the part at the local auto zone), He left and my car was not fixed. I called him back and he said he would fix it for another $150.00. I paid him $150.00 the first time he was here. What a scam.

**** called me to come diagnose the check engine light on his vehicle.

I explained that to come out I charge ****** for diagnostics.

The emissions valve is the problem I told him and if he bought one I'd put it on for him. He called several times saying the light came back on and acted like I was supposed to have fixed the problem.

**** is an older gentleman and has problems with communication and I'm sure sorry I spent the hour talking to him about the cobra in the garage and what it needs.

I thought we were going to have a good relationship as he had more stuff to do. but I guess not.

I'm still willing to do more but he is unwilling to pay.

I am rejecting this response because:  First of all I do not have any communication problems, Who charges $150.00 just to read codes, well, this guy does and he is scamming the public.  When I initally called him he said he would fix the problem, all he did is read the code, told me where to go and get the part needed and then he left.  Now, I have since had a reputable mechanic check the vehicle and fix the car.  The problem was a worn out gas cap, not the part that the guy from On Call said.  The On call guy did not even read the code correct.  So, I paid $150.00 to a scammer.  This guy should be in Jail for fraud.

    Sincerely,
