Horrible product, an when given the chance to remedy the issue they insisted it must have been something I did. Then to throw salt on a $1000 wound their fix was just sand it and start over again like, what? How about sell a product that works and give an actual detailed instruction instead of just letting your customers go into something blind. Also, maybe just maybe if your product has had so many defects that you are ready with an answer then either fix it or have someone available at all hours to assist your paying customers. Offered me $75 partial refund after I wasted $300 on their horrible products and had to rip the countertops out and buy new ones. I wouldnt trust these guys ever again and will make sure to tell everyone I see the same. Good luck if youre still dumb enough to order this scam.Review from Annmarie P

I am shocked by the bad reviews. I did my kitchen counters with Stone Coat and they turned out amazing. I love it so much that I am getting ready to do my Grannys counters. Thank you Stone Coat for all your helpful videos. Easy to follow.Review from Kimberly C

I have ordered many, many times, epoxy and about everything on their site. Everything arrived timely and my countertops and giant art table, made from a planters table I bought at a thrift store, looks beautiful. Great products and customer service. I dont see how they could have anything less than an A+, 5 star rating.Review from George P

I have ordered from Stonecoat quite a few times and it has not been because I love their products. I have poured a few projects around the house such as two bathroom vanities which were fairly easy, but even then I had to repour once due to poor video/written instructions on ounces per square foot. The first time I was short on a dirty pour. I thought I learned my ****** by adding a few ounces/ft. I have watched my fair share of their videos and while they are fun to watch, they are constantly changing techniques, recommendations, instructions, and are very inconstant. They do not remove old content if they find better techniques, better products, etc. which can be confusing and misleading for for the DIYer. Example, their white exotic pour video recommends using Art **** since the pour is dominantly white and the Art **** has more UV blockers to prevent yellowing. Yet the link attached to their Art **** kit has their regular epoxy. I pointed this out to them in Sept 2021 when I received my kit. It took a little bit of back and forth with the customer service to get my epoxy replaced. When I was ordering some more epoxy several months later I checked the kit on their site and they still had not updated their kit. I recently started my kitchen, which is a much larger project then my bathrooms, using the same color recipe. I added additional ounces/ft, learning from my previous mistake of going with Stonecoat's recommendations, and still was not even close to having enough epoxy. So I wasted a lot of epoxy and money. After ordering/receiving more epoxy, I mixed 2 buckets of epoxy in order to have enough, after using my first bucket, the second bucket started to cure in about 15 minutes. So the long working time they advertise only applies to after the epoxy is poured out. So now I get to order more epoxy. This time when ordering, I ordered the epoxy last Friday. I received my order confirmation. Monday passes and late on Tuesday I called becauseReview from Ethan T

This company is a joke. I work in the industry and wanted to do some Things around my home so I placed An order. 4 months later my products have not arrived. Beware of websites like this one.Review from msbock

I have ordered several times through Stone Coat Countertop. I own a ********** and it just happened that I had started my first epoxy project right before the ******19 shut down. It was a plus not having to do one bar section at a time and was able to do more sanding and leveling. Because of the shutdown I was able to do more than original planned. I added all my bar tables, a door to my mop room, cupboard doors and a beer barrel table. Before starting my project. I watched several hours of video. I can honestly say if you want a your project to go well, you would be wise to watch several available you tube videos. When you're ready to start your project, watch a few more videos. Do The Research! Make sure you have all tools ready to go and most important, do a decent job of prepping your project. I am addicted to Epoxy and the amazing designs one can create. Since my Pub project I have completely redid one of my bathrooms in my home. A vanity with 2 unremovable sinks (tricky) the three doors and three doors of the vanity, the toilet seat and cover, the floor heat register and just preparing to do the floor. I LOVE the look and outcome so far. Turned a 60's bathroom into an updated modern bathroom. In my experience, this company has outdone themselves with their products, the education they provide, videos on using their products and design examples along with the available color choices. The only thing I can complain about is that their new Ultimate Topcoat was not available when I was doing my bar top but came out shortly after, an easy to apply roll on topcoat that stands up to the hardest abuses known.Review from Lynne S

I am 84 now and was new to epoxy in 2019,. I watched the stonecoat videos and decided to do my kitchen. I understood about the possibility of ambering from radiant heater info in one of the videos and aware of the importance of mixing really thoroughly, and decided to go ahead. I did my countertops to remind me of the Bahamian waters. I carefully mixed it and the kitchen turned out beautifully. I am very happy with the product and service and since have done other projects refurbishing table tops etc. I am at a loss that with careful studying the videos and following instructions to the letter that people have not had great results. If one really studies the videos and follows directions carefully one should have excellent results as I did. It is really fun to work with and I have am going to keep on epoxying anything I can find!! I had great service and it is the only epoxy I would use because it doesn't have an odor and is easy to use. Usually when I had a question I received an answer in a reasonable time frame.
