On their website they have a coupon for $100 off a $500 purchase. I purchased a piece of furniture on clearance for $699. I did not know about the discount until 2 days later when I went to their website. I called the store to inquire about why I did not receive the discount. I was informed that even though the discount was in effect at the time of purchase, because it was a clearance item that it was not eligible for the discount. I stated that nowhere on their discount promotion did it state that clearance items were it excluded. The manager said that they sent out a mass mailer stating that fact. I informed him that I did not receive the mailer and was simply going by what they were advertising on their website. He said it didnt matter what the website said, and that because it was on the mailer that was what counted and they would not honor the discount. I then cancelled my order for the item.
