It saddens my heart that I have to review this dealership so low.I have a jeep, never had any problems with it. Its only six years old. My jeep wouldnt start one day just out of the blue. I had to have it towed over to the nearest dealer. That would be Lithia in Medford. It took quite a while of sitting and waiting but they fixed it that day they said. Believe it was $450 for a start stop battery. I asked for you sure its OK now. Absolutely. Two or three days later, I go to go out to dinner, and my jeep wont start again. Call roadside service they jumpstarted my jeep and I took it back to Lithia Medford.I had to rent a car for a week while they had it for the second time. And they call me and said its the stop start battery and a relay. Well, I informed them I was not going to pay for another stop start battery since they just put one in there. So $350 later plus $400 for rental car. I am assured once again yes its running its fine we definitely found it. If I go again. The third or fourth day that I went to drive it again it wont *********** same as before. Exactly the same. I called my roadside service. They come out and jump it and I drive it to Lithia a Medford again. At this time Im literally crying. I am so upset I am single I am a travel nurse. I am out of where my family and friends that could help me are. Its costing me a fortune and I am missing work because my car is doing the same exact thing again. They assured me that my vehicle will be put at the beginning of the line since this is the third time, and I have to go get another rental car. That was on Saturday, I keep calling, and they keep saying they havent had a chance to look at it until Thursday I finally get a hold of him again and Im Upset whats going on oh well, the mechanic picked up the ticket so hes about to start working on it. This is Thursday night. Friday I called and had to call four or five times I kept being put on hold I kept being transferred to a voice machine because the guy wasnt there that day they didnt care. Finally, I get someone on the phone and I said I need to know whats going on with my jeep. This is Friday youve had it for a week. I want to talk to the manager . The manager would not talk to me. Finally, after being put on hold for forever again that day no manager talking to me, I get well its on the diagnostic machine now itll be Monday or Tuesday before we get back to you on whats wrong with it . Monday, this was yesterday Monday I had to make several calls to finally get through and I hear, its a fuse and fuse relay $650. I got very upset. Why am I being charged over and over for stuff when you guys are the ones making this mistake. Well this is what it is and we need to fix it OK fine when will it be fixed, he said itll be fixed today. I said I have to pick it up tomorrow because I have to return the rental car that Ive now had for over a week. Today I was going to go get my jeep it was supposed to be done yesterday. Thank goodness because I work nights I was really tired and didnt leave yet. He calls me and says OK your jeep is ready at $650. we replaced the fuse and relay. Oh no, wait a bit maam no your jeep isnt ready, it turns out you need a starter. I was absolutely beside myself so upset. Your jeep isnt gonna be ready till tomorrow and its another $650.I am now extending my car rental till tomorrow it is $668 for my car rental. And this starter problem has cost me over $3000 and I dont even know if theyre gonna have fixed it right because theyve had two other chances.I feel like there has been absolutely no service. They did not care that they were making mistakes. They did not have any loaner cars for me so I had to keep renting cars. They never even put my vehicle as a priority, even though they were the ones diagnosing it in properly. They have charged me thousands of dollars now to fix something because they just decided why we dont know where it what it is so were just gonna start replacing things and hope it works. I am a single woman and I am **** miles away from home . To say this has put me out and put me under financially is absolutely or stated. I really hope that I get my jeep back tomorrow. I hope that they havent yet again replaced parts. I didnt need because they dont know what theyre doing evidently. Because I literally cannot keep affording this. I may actually have to take this to small claims court.I have never given a bad review to anyone, but as Im sitting here, so upset that I have cried over this four times, and I am not one who cries normally I am so frustrated and it has cost me so much money and missed work, rental, cars, and parts. My vehicle didnt need. I pray to God my jeep comes back tomorrow. And that this whole fiasco is finally over. If it is not rest, assured, I will be taking it anywhere but Lithia Medford again.Initial Complaint

We have a RECALL on our 2020 Dodge Ram ****. We have been given the runaround about the RECALLED fuel pump since the recall has been in place, Nov 2021. ***, made the appointment for July, since the original recall had no current fix, she scheduled the appointment, just for us to receive a phone call the day before our scheduled appointment time, to let us know that someone dropped the ball and didnt actually order the part. We asked what to do, he stated wait for our phone call, which never happened. So months went by, I finally called, spoke to ***, let her know that the ball was dropped and nobody actually ordered the part, she said that wasnt true, it was ordered back in July. She said they only get 2 a week and we could be waiting for 3yrs. I got sick of the runaround, called FCA, told them my experience and that *** said they are *** specific, and the part has to match the *** for the fuel pump, they couldnt just put someone elses fuel pump in the truck. Thats ALL LIES!!!!! Yes, only SPECIFIC ***S WERE RECALLED, but the part DOES NOT HAVE TO MATCH THE ***, THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS. WE TOW A 34 TOY ****** AND A CARGO WORK TRAILER, if this fails it can kill us and or another person/family!!!!! The other lady I spoke to today continued to cut me off and tell me whatever, yeah whatever, if thats what you think. Because I did say theyre all very rude down there and its far from customer service! We love **********************, however, after dealing with Lithia, I never want to own another one! If this fuel pump fails, Im out of work, a truck and a house, because without it I cant work and nobody has $100 an hour to pay for my lost wages for the time Ive lost without a vehicle to work!Initial Complaint

I have been scammed on the purchase of my truck, the day I purchased my **** F-350 6.4 (08/02/2021) for $40,000 approximately, it broke down. I gave the dealership the benefit of the doubt after having to beg for something to be done and had the motor replaced through the warranty I purchased with the vehicle, which looking back I luckily purchased that otherwise I would have been in deep water. Here I am a year later dealing with issues with this truck still. I have had this truck in my possession equal time that it has been in and out of shops. I get avoided when I have went in to talk to the general manager ************************* of lithia Chrysler jeep dodge of Medford. It took 3 months and 7 days for me to get my truck back after the date I purchased it (8/2/21) and no one besides the mechanic from an entirely ************** could give me answers and even then it was few and far between. I have now had to have the pcmu replaced two times and am having issues with it again. When the pcmu was being replaced I was without my vehicle for 3 more months. Because the truck is ***** miles outside of the warranty theyve wiped their hands of the truck. *** had to pay out of pocket to get these things fixed and I feel as if the dealership took advantage of me when selling me this truck while knowing it had these issues. They stated there was a complete inspection of the vehicle before sale, but how would it have broken down the same day of purchase if that was the case. I use my vehicle for work everyday and do not own another vehicle, therefore when my truck is in the shop I cannot work. I have 2 children to care for and I cant keep dealing with this truck. I went into the dealership and have tried to get into a different truck and see if they would make this all right and they try to give me 1/3 of what I owe on this broken vehicle and make my payments on a future vehicle astronomical because of it. I am at a loss as of what I can do from here. 6 months and 7 days without.Initial Complaint

I had the rear main seal replaced on my **** Dodge Ram **** pickup at Lithia Dodge in ****** after having it fail during a road trip. I suspected the rear main seal had been improperly installed by another shop while having the transmission rebuilt two years prior. When it was finished, I received a call to come and pick it up. During the call I was told that indeed the rear main seal had been improperly installed so I asked them to include this information on the invoice so I could go back the other shop with this information because the work was still under warranty. I was told this would be no problem. I was also told that I had received a complimentary oil change as a courtesy to me...great, I thought, since it was due. When I picked up my truck, I hadn't bothered to look at the invoice, I just paid and was happy to have it back. When I got home and looked at the invoice, there was no mention of the prior work being done wrong, nor was there any mention of an oil change. The invoice only said that 5 quarts had been added so I looked at the oil filter and found it was the same one I had installed during the last time I changed the oil myself. Not getting a free oil change didn't bother me so much except for the fact that I was told it would happen. What bothered me more was not having the notes about the prior work being done wrong. Even worse is that I noticed a new clunking sound coming from under the floor. I finally got ahold of someone there and scheduled a return visit to check it out and was told they would also provide an amended invoice. After the very first day I received a call stating there was nothing wrong, just some loose suspension parts which I explained I was already aware of. After this initial call I had to call multiple times to get a status which never changed. On the fourth day, I went and picked it up because I need to use it for the weekend. The noise is still there, and they don't acknowledge calls or e-mails.Initial Complaint

I've been trying to cancel my extended warranty by emailing ***** at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge **** of Medford. This process started on September 24, 2022. I didn't receive a follow-up until October 3, and a voicemail was left on my phone indicating the documentation I initially sent wasn't sufficient to cancel my warranty.I've been in conversation via phone with my new dealership and my financial institution. Both parties are confused as to why Lithia will not accept the adequate documentation I've supplied that more than proves I have traded in my previous vehicle (RAM ****). I've also given more than sufficient proof that the lien for the truck in question has been satisfied.I want to get precise information as to what document Lithia is demanding to cancel my extended warranty. I'm tired of the runaround and misinformation Lithia is stating in what I feel is a veiled attempt to dissuade me from pursuing my legal right to cancel the extended warranty they sold me for the vehicle I traded in June.I hope that BBB can help facilitate a resolution that will end in my receiving a refund for what remains of my extended warranty.Initial Complaint

I had my vehicle towed to the dealership and went in the following morning to make sure my car was set up to get serviced. On 09/03/2022, I spoke with ***** and said that I wanted to order 2 tires to have them both installed. ***** said that this would take place my car should be ready on the following Tuesday, this was noted on my work order and other associated fees with replacing 2 tires. My car was not ready till Wednesday due to Labor Day impacting the shipment. I had extensive communication issues with ***** and the service department. I called multiple times on 09/06/2022 and after about an hour of calling, I was finally able to speak with *****. ***** stated he was going to check on my tires and would call me back; however, he never called me back. I also spoke with someone in the parts department who stated they would call me back, which they never did. My wife and I then went into the dealership and ***** explained my tires were held up due to Labor Day and that they should be in on Wednesday 09/07/2022 and that they would be installed and my car would be ready. On 09/07/2022, I went in to retrieve my vehicle as it was finally finished. I left work early to ensure I would be able to pick up my vehicle as I was needing it for my daily commute. Upon my arrival to the dealership there was only one tire installed. ***** then lied and stated he believed I wanted the second tire as a spare despite the work order showing 2 tires were to be replaced. I was then told that I would have to bring my car back in to have the tire put on. I told ***** that I was just going to skip on the second tire and pay for the original tire that they put on. ***** then stated there was a stocking fee and shipment fee due which I was not informed of when I bought the tires. The dealership forced me to pay for 2 tires and other fees associated with having 2 tires replaced despite only getting the services for one. I was charged for services that I never received.Initial Complaint

The Jeep Gladiator pickup that I own developed a chip in the windshield by a rock hitting it from a passing car. The Jeep was sold to me with a corning gorilla glass windshield that has a warranty that is supposed to cover such a thing for 24 months after the date of purchase. The Jeep was purchased on 3/18/22 the chip in the window happened 4/30/22. I called the dealer first thing Monday morning 5/2/22 to get an appointment for them to look at the chip in the window the earliest they could get me in was 5/19/22. By that time the chip had started to crack and was across the entire window. When i made the appointment they told me that they would need to do digital imaging of the window then file a claim. Unsure what "digital imaging" is I took the jeep to the dealer that morning and they took 2 cell phone pictures. The lady taking the photos then tells me that she would expect the claim to be denied. I thought this was weird because when i called they had no clue that this gorilla glass windshield even exists nor that it carried any warranty. I asked her if she has done a warranty claim on a gorilla glass windshield before she said "no" so im confused on how she even came to this conclusion. I read the fine print of the warranty and knew that i was within the parameters of what was required or I wouldn't have even wasted my time. The warranty states the chip to be larger then a US quarter but smaller then 3 inches. She did not measure anything or use anything in her photos for a size comparison. I still have not been given a direct answer of why it was denied and left 2 messages for a call back and have not been called back either. I will attach 2 photos one showing the initial chip then another weeks later with cracks across the windshield resulting from the crack.
