On 10/11/2024 I contacted clear Choice Automotive about trading in my car for a 2010 **** f150 platinum pickup. I was told to fill out an finance application, I did and sent them a photo of my check stub by secure email. On Monday 10/14/2024 my friend and I went to the car dealership. From the minute we started talking to the salesman he was rude, he asked if I had a trade in I showed him my car a ******** he said "like I needa ******* then he asked about my down payment I told him the amount he said can you make it double the amount I said no that's all I have. He said that he would go check on financing while we went and checked out the pickup, I loved it! Another gentleman said that he didn't know if he could get financing and then tried to get me to buy a pickup with *******miles on it I said no I told them that my finance place would probably finance me. While i was looking aroung my finance company called me to let me know that clear choice put in a application, itold him i was at their car lot he said he woud call them and work out a deal.We were waiting in the car when the sales person came out and said "have I got a deal for you!" He then took me to a van I told him no I didn't want a van I want the truck I came for he said just hear me out I said no he said you can take the seats out all haul things in it I said no, he said he'd sell it to me for $300 and I could keep my car I again told him no. At this point there was no offer on my trade, no bargaining on price it's like I wasn't there to buy a certain vehicle. I felt deemed, degraded, and discriminated against. I mean he never even looked at my car! We told him we were leaving, he said wait, I'll go contact reliable credit(my finance company) he came bak about two minutes later and stood there waved and said goodbye. We left and I called my faiance company, he thought we were there still I told him no and explained what happened, he couldn't understand it either. All I waned was to get a pickup.

If you deal with **************** get screwed. I bought a truck from him, he said its in great phenomenal shape. Repairs it needs after being assessed is over $5k because it wouldnt start when it arrived and the haulers trailer was dripping in fluids that leaked out of the truck. ***** lies and lies and then lies some more, and loves to be in contact until you wire him your money his response finally after 3 days of zero response from my emails and blocking my number when I told him the truck is in need of major repair was what do you expect? I told him ** sending the truck back to him as I live out of ****** and he said he would then bill me for the tow truck to take it off the lot. ***** lies and he offered zero solutions after knowingly selling me a piece of junk truck that he said was a great working and running truck. Avoid the headache and massive repair bills and dont deal with Romei or this dealership. Pics are just some of the leaks on the trailer.

On 9/2/2023 my family purchased a 2007 ****** Impreza wagon from Clear Choice Auto for just over $6000. The car had been bought at auction by the dealer, and was being sold "as is." I assumed the car needed some repairs and paint, but the ****** was sold to us with a dangerous cracked and welded rim. CCA is a licensed car dealer. I think it would have been difficult for them to have not noticed it before they sold it to elderly 78-year-old Veteran and his disabled, former firefighter son. The rim in question has been certified by ******************* and Discount Tires as being welded and cracked in multiple locations. It's a big no-no. Discount Tires bailed us out with a really good deal and Military discount on tires, so the car is a little safer now. There is also the matter of potential frame damage. This was not disclosed to us by the dealer before the sale. I didn't include a picture of the bad repair job, because I'm not an expert. My insurance company is working on getting the car inspected by an adjuster to make that determination, so as yet I don't know for sure.I've already spent $1000 on rims and tires, and a few hundred on other repairs, but the potential frame damage *** total the car out right, and my insurance will go up for damage I didn't even do. Now that I've got the car running better, it's worth $7500. I'd rather not give it back, but with thousands in additional repair bills, a cracked and welded rim, and the car potentially needing an insurance claim, I honestly think some kind of refund is due. I can't prove they knew about the bad welds, so this isn't a civil thing. But the situation is a bit over my head.True, the car was sold "as is", but at the very least I don't think you can or should sell a car at all with a welded and cracked rim. Perhaps Clear Choice Automotive should consider a refund of sorts, so I can at least get the car operating more safely again. I don't want parts or services from them, because don't really trust them after this.

I was buying a car from out-of-state. I selected a **** ****** RAV4, 5 speed manual transmission. I put a $500 deposit down (with an undisclosed $15 admin fee) on Friday, March 17th and paid in full the following Monday ($7945). I flew to ******** from ********* on March 25 to pick up the car. Long story short, the car was a bust--it ran rough and about 3 miles from the dealership smoke came from the hood. I called them and they came to get me to sort out the problem. They tried to blame me for the issue (but I have been driving manual transmission vehicles since high school). They stuck me in the employee break room and didn't check on me. The owner agreed the vehicle was undriveable, so I was stranded. I selected another vehicle from the lot--a **** *** x5. Bad business practices from that point on: I was rushed into and through the transaction. I was assured that the oil was good. It was known that the driver window and mirror control didn't work, but the owner agreed to fix it if I brought the vehicle back.(But when I brought the vehicle in about 2 weeks later from 3 hours away, he asked if I could come back the next day and I had to insist on him keeping his word and the appointment we had set.) His mechanic assessed the problem and he agreed to buy a new part. The part came over 1 month later and it did not fix the problem. I also have engine problems, likely due to low/bad/wrong oil. I have emailed and called repeatedly from April to now and I do not get any reply. I believe I was taken advantage of in my stranded situation--I was rushed through the transaction, not allowed to negotiate (paid full price), lied to about the actual condition of the vehicle, and now no one from the dealership will respond to my correspondence to work to a resolution.

The owner told me that the shaking on start up was "****** engineering" and to make sure to let the vehicle warm up, but the tech at ********** indicated more serious ( expensive) problems due to the check engine code that came up.

Attached is the receipt for the oil change (tech said the oil was very dirty, old, and likely not the right type and confidently stated there was no way the dealer had changed the oil as he had told me he did) and one estimate to replace spark plugs (all others were within $200 of this estimate but only given on the phone),

I purchased a vehicle from Clear Choice on 3/3/23 that exceeded the *** *** value by $1500 (at $7000). They wouldnt negotiate the price (rescinding their previous offer of $6k) and couldnt explain why they were charging so much. Their only comment was, look at the car fax. This is a good car. Furthermore, the ** was unable to answer any specific questions regarding critical maintenance on the vehicle. ****, the salesman, mentioned that this vehicle was a favorite of their mechanics and the head gasket was recently serviced. The ****************************************** the most basic package that ****** sells: no fog lights, no rails or racks, no moon/sun roof, no radio controls on the steering wheel, etc. At closing, they requested I initial a statement attesting that they gave me an opportunity to take the vehicle to a mechanic for an inspection. When I contested the point, they responded No one reads that. We dont allow that anymore. Weve been burned too many times. They insisted that I sign regardless. I resisted. The staff cornered me into providing a positive ****** review before I was able to leave the dealership. I resisted, again. 2 days later, the vehicle overheated while stopped at a red light. Intense white smoke bellowed under the hood and persisted for roughly 30min. When I called, they responded with What did you do to it? Who touched it? Their solution was to put more coolant in it. They stated that their mechanic could take a look but all financial responsibilities fell on me. They refused to any compromise, exclaiming I dont have time to argue with you! A ****** mechanic quoted me $6300 with evidence of a bandaid on the head gasket that damaged the engine block. At three weeks post purchase, they called for an extra $500 payment on the vehicle, threatening to send me to collections. The vehicle was still inoperable at the shop. They are aware of the prognosis and I have yet to receive any consolation nor the title for the vehicle.

I purchased this car Clear Choice Automotive on 11/2/23 for my son. We test drove this electric car for about 15 minutes. I purchased the car with the understanding I was buying it "as is". Clear Choice Automotive is required to pay for the *** fees for the license and registration (see document uploaded). When the paperwork was complete my son headed back to ********* (1 1/2 hours), and I headed to my home in ****** (1 hour). The car started shutting down on my son about 2 miles from the dealership. My son called the General Manager (**) and he said he would pick up his mechanic and meet him on the side of the road. The mechanic worked on the car for about 2 hours and said it was good to go. This time the car worked for about 1/2 hour, then shut down. At that point the ** said they would send my son home in one of their cars so they could keep the car I purchased to figure out what was wrong (now about 10:30 PM). My son was driving home with the dealership's car and a semi ahead of him blew a tire and a part hit the front bumper of the car (cracking it). My son reported that to the ** the next morning. The ** suggested we figure out how to resolve that problem when they returned the Prius. The ** said "please don't use insurance to fix it". The dealership delivered the car about a week later. The car worked for only a 1/2 day. My son called the **, and he advised my son to go to Autozone to diagnose the problem. Autozone determined the battery needed to be replaced (minimum $2,000 for a used *****). The ** said he would try to get a battery, and deal with the bumper issue later. At that point the **, or anyone else at the dealership would return calls. I bought a new battery so my son could get to school and work. I drove to the dealership about 3 weeks ago asking them why *** hadn't received the fees for license and registration. They said it was an error and would do it the next day. Now they won't return calls.
