      I had a judgment against me regarding a rental house. The landlord claimed damages above the deposit amount. When I didn't pay the amount the landlord sold the debt to a collections company. The collections company hired a Lawyer and took the matter to the District Court for Clark County, WA. The collection company was granted a Summary Judgment. In the time between the judgment and now the Collections company “Metro Area Collections” has stopped doing business. I have attempted to contact the Lawyers office on multiple occasions by phone, email and certified mail but received no response. The Lawyer is; Quinn Posner Posner Law Office 532 NE 3rd Ave, Suite 105 Camas, WA 98607 360-524-4767 I am will to pay the remaining amount to clear this from my record. I need Metro Area collections to notify the court I am no longer responsible for the judgement due to the creditor not being in business. This document would not be a satisfaction of the judgement because the terms were not met, but it should state that the court is releasing me of the obligation because I am unable to satisfy the terms due to no fault of my own.

      Metro area collection services Inc.I hired them to do a collection for me on a rental house that was totally trashed and a months rent that was not paid. I hired them about six months ago and we had good communication for about three months and then nothing Ive tried to contact them to find out whats going on the first time they responded saying they were waiting to hear back from the renters and so far they had not but they would keep me updated, and so far I have heard nothing. I have been emailing them and now their emails are coming back. The phones are still working to leave a message but I have never gotten a call back in the last three months and nobody else will take the case because Ive already talk to them . The case would be valued at over $7000 which I am unable to do anything because metro area Collections Service. Has not contacted me in any way.

      Metro Area Collection Service, Has done a full investigation into the claim made by ********************. Metro has determined that due to lack of information regarding a possible theft in 2018, Metro cannot determine if this is in fact a case of Identity Theft.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Showing filled police report and have been working with the 3 credit bureaus to remove this from my report as it is due to identity theft. Further documentation from them should be received shortly. These items are not mine and am asking for this to be removed from my report.

      I have received a letter from this Agency attempting to collect on a disputed debt from 16 years ago. I have never received any communication about this debt, legal or personal, since 2006. They are now attempting to collect interest equaling nearly 150% of original debt. I disputed this debt with the original debtor in 2006 and was under the understanding that this was resolved back then. For them to now attempt to collect this now is ridiculous. I have never received legal papers as to any judgement through any court.
