************************************** built the fence and gate for a home I have lived in for 3 years. The 4 x 4 that was placed in the ground to connect the back gate to our home has rotted and fallen out of its hole. This occurred in September 2024. A treated 4 x4 would not rot within a 3-year period. Also, if the 4 x4 had been buried appropriately and with enough cement it should not have come out of the ground at this 3-year time period. The warranty for the fence is no longer applicable. However, because of the ill proper workmanship I have asked **** to review and to assist fixing the situation. He had stated he was booked out about a week and 1/2 and would get back with me to schedule. He did not. I called and texted him about scheduling. He states he was trying to get me on the schedule. Since I was on the phone with him, I asked to be scheduled. He stated he would be out this Saturday @ 8am to fix it. I then later received a text stating he got ahold of ******* Construction, and I would have to check with them regarding warranty and scheduling through them. ****** of ******* emailed stating warranty now void but **** was going to send a quote. I am formally complaining because I truly believe his poor workmanship is the cause of the post loosening and falling to the ground. If done properly, this situation would not have happened. Please note also, that I had to ask him about a year ago to come out and adjust the gate as it wasn't closing properly. I am asking for **** to replace and repair the post at no cost.
