Charged me and my insurance $5000 to fix a door and not my mirror. Held my car for 2 months and lied to me about my insurance not looking at the vehicle. 3 adjusters were turned away and Leifs told me no one came and that my insurance is the one to blame. Me and my insurance people figured out they were holding out for more money so I didnt have to pay storage fees. They only did 50% of the job for 100% of the cost and now I have to take this to court. These guys are major scammers and need to be shut down immediately.

      To whom it concerns,

This review is false and a complete fabrication. Please remove.
Ms.  ********************* Knows that the mirror is on backorder by the manufacturer, and she asked us to put the old broken one on so she could have her car until the new one arrives and she would come back when the mirror arrives. It is scheduled to arrive in October. Further, all insurance companies and bodyshops work together during the repair to add, subtract, or change order repairs, parts, procedures, sublet, and materials as needed. This is called the supplement process.Standard throughout the industry. ************************* also knows this.

I want to say that there advertisement is a lie. They do not put the customer concerns first. They always try to blame everything on the insurance company as far as holding things up when it is them not sending the paperwork in so they can approve the repairs. The reason they do not care is because they have you sign a contract and if you try to get your car you will owe a 120$ storage fee that is in the contract that they dont inform you about . The guy told me to sign it was just so they could work on my car and I trusted them big mistake. If you try to get numbers they cant tell you . Also I told them not to do any work beyond what the insurance company approved and they did work any way without any approval. When ask about that they said thats not how this industry works . Also in my case they charged the insurance company for work that was not done and that was buying a new door. And mysteriously the price of removing a small dent and replacing the whole door was the same price . I never got a straight answer about the pricing . I paid the extra money just to get my car after a month . My final is beware do not go there

If there was a score of less than one star that is what I would have selected. These people are crooks. Their contracts are despicable, my car was not fixed correctly, there were additional scratches/dents.They have a hold harmless clause and avoid responsible by calling their repair a partial repair.

I am very unsatisfied with my experience at ****'s. **************** is poor and it takes several days to get a response to simple questions. While they advertise that "We will fight the insurance company on your behalf", the reality is that they do no such thing, leaving the customer to figure it out for themselves - very frustrating. Also, beware of unadvertised, hidden fees like "vehicle storage" which can add up to thousands of additional dollars.Overall, I feel like I was robbed.Very disappointing overall experience. Go somewhere else for your repair needs.

One star is too many! I don't care if this is the only shop around for 100 miles, DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! My truck was in an accident down south while my son had it and we couldn't get it in anywhere for over a month. In the meantime, my son was driving it back and forth to work. The front quarter panel was damaged but it was drivable and had been driven for the month leading up to taking it to them. The only reason that we took it there was it was really close to where my son was working at the time. Bad idea! We drove it in there, yet when it came time for us to take it home it wouldn't run or even start. They said it probably had something to do with all of the aftermarket wiring and that the *** was fried. They weren't able to figure out what was wrong with it so that told us that we could take a look at it. That is until we got there and then they wouldn't let us touch it even though we had permission. IT was probably an insurance thing which I understand but they didn't communicate that to us. They simply don't us that we couldn't touch it and basically told us to get out. Our rep * advisor whatever you want to call him *** was and is a complete jerk. Terrible customer service from everyone we had contact with. They treated the truck like it was trash that they couldn't wait to get out of their shop. It may be trash to them, but it was and is my daily drive that I have put a lot of time and money into. Needless to say, they wouldn't own their mistake at all and the only thing we could do is have it towed from their shop to have the *** replaced which cost us $2500. The shop that I took it to said it was something that they did that fried the *** but there was no way to prove it. Whatever you do, don't give them any business. Worst all around experience I have ever had regardless of the industry. ****** learned. I know that I won't get nor am I expecting a response from them.

      Thank you for your review

As you are aware, we tried to help you with this matter. We negotiated on your behalf with the insurer to agree to cover the cost of the non-start issue if the mechanic at the dealership assessed the problem to be accident related. And we told you if the mechanic at the dealership said it was not related, you would need to cover the cost to assess and repair. You declined this offer. We explained that due to the massive amount of home and *********** wiring throughout your **** Dodge Ram, this assessment would need to be done by a company that worked on *********** electrical problems. We are a factory repair shop. As you know your truck has had extensive work and un-repaired damage from years of being on the road. We told you we would be more than happy to talk to the individual who assessed the *** as the problem and discuss why it went out. You never got back to us. Leifs has been in business ******************************************** the *** and has always put the consumer first. We have a 97% satisfaction rating and have fixed well over one hundred thousand vehicles during this time. Give us a call.

This place is a scam. They don't care about the customer. They only want to ******* auto insurance companies by sending false invoices and wanting to make the customer the middle man. DO NOT go here ************ repairs.

Leifs returned a white ***** covered in black mud without an appointment with the owner because the employee thought it funny and the owner had inconvenienced him. by catching ***** and unable to talk.Engine compartment was all scratched up. Owner lifted the hood after the accident and found zero scratches on the items in the engine compartment,Car was recently tuned prior to the incident. Car had to be tuned again after delivered by Leifs.Passenger side mirror and directional signal no longer worked and the adjustment at driver door to adjust the mirror was broken.Poor repair by ****'s. No star service.

Believe the reviews and the * rating from the BBB! It took more than a month for a job that should have taken a few days.Once they have your car, they pretty much hold it hostage until you agree to some things, including a mandatory charge for labor materials. I could tell that I was not dealing with a reputable company, so I told them I would pick up my car. They said there would be some charges, including storage fees of $400 per hour for corporate time, $110 per day for outside storage, $150 per day for inside storage, $35 administration fee, 20% of the negotiated estimate, and any sublet or tow bill plus a 30% mark up. So much for a free estimate. There were multiple supplemental charges after the initial estimate. *or a job as minor as mine, they should have kept their promise and completed the job according to their original estimate. At one point, they told me insurance would not cover blending of paint so that the door panels matched. They wanted me to sign a waiver form regarding that, if I chose not to pay for it. I called my insurance company that same day and they told me this request was not submitted to them, but they would cover the expense. I sent an email to Leifs that same day with the good news that my insurance would cover the blending. The next day, Leifs told me it was too late and they had already done the painting - without even giving me an opportunity to either pay for the blending or sign the waiver! And there is evidently something called DENIB that costs $320, and was not included in the original estimate. Just say no to this! They talked to me in a demeaning way. At one point I had to remind them that I was the customer and deserved to be talked to in a respectful way. What do I want at this point? What I do NOT want is to be contacted by Leifs so they can try to justify and make excuses for their behavior. What I WOULD like is simply a written apology for their terrible customer service and leave it at that.

*********************** is a liar and a coward, insulting women customers. Lies about work done and then blocks emails claiming due to my behavior I now have to get a lawyer and go after them personally. They had my truck for 87 days and charge insurance $21,000. On top of $1500 I paid out of pocket to replace with all OEM parts. Once I picked up the truck, I realized they did not use OEM parts so now my trailer brakes do not work. They did not finish painting the bed of truck, multiple issues and now they dont want to deal with me blocked my email and will not let me talk to anybody there. This place is a scam do your research I do not know how they are still in business. Read the reviews. My insurance warned me. I wish I would have listened. They have multiple lawsuits open with major insurance companies. The office ladies there are just as rude as ***********************. The screen your calls and make up excuses to drag on every little detail that needs to be done. Was told the owner was going to reach back to me and 24 to 48 hours and havent heard a thing. I have an email from *********************** saying do not hold your breathI will definitely be seeing these guys in court

I am SO annoyed with Leifs Auto!!I had a fender ****** and needed a quick estimate and repair. As they say on their commercials, they DO take your car ASAP. I took my car to them, got a rental car thru my insurance and waited and waited several days for Leifs assessment. It was very high, over the value of my car.My insurance company totaled my car and intended to sell it at auction! I wanted to retain my car so negotiated to keep it. Meanwhile, back at Leifs, I went to return my rental car and pick up my Benz, (driving thru heavy stop and go traffic 30+ minutes each way) Imagine my surprise to be informed that the storage charge was $150 per day on top of their exam and estimate, totaling over $1800!! PS They didnt contact my insurance adjuster for 7 days, racking up MORE storage fees! Nothing was repaired and thats how much they were going to charge me?I offered to pay in full through my credit card and be reimbursed by my insurance and was informed that they dont take credit cards! WHAT?I wasted my time and gas only to be turned away. So, now I have to wait until next week for my insurance company to send a check so I can take my car to a more reputable shop.
