      When I call and inevitably have to wait for help, they play loud, obnoxious, generated "music" so that I can't continue to think or work as I wait.

      They illegally closed my personal banking account months after reaching out to the fraud department for a loss of ***** or more. They requested longer time to do the investigation and 3 months later closed my account. They can not be trusted in accounting and neither can the Ai coded in their system. The people who work for this company in those areas of security and finance are corrupt and involved in criminal organization.

      I hate how this bank is able to place a hold on a check I deposited over two days ago and charge me overdraft fees without even notifying me that they had decided to leave me without my money. All I heard was how everything they are doing is for my benefit....that I could end up being a victim of fraud. Umpqua Bank will do anything they can to make money off of you....even telling us lies to justify their fees!

      *** worked with 100s of banks, had accounts with a few dozen. I was with ************* They were AWESOME then they merged with umpqua the horror! Several people I know wanted away from umpqua but were trapped until a refinance or whatever. Others got away before the merger knowing umpqua was already a mess. I thought I would be ok because Columbia was such a good bank. UMPQUA IS HANDS DOWN the worst financial institution on the planet. A class act lawsuit on this bank like no they will ensue. The most back stabbing crack head institution I have ever encountered.

      This bank provided a debit, prepaid card, that has their name on it, that can be used in their atm, in their bank with printed receipts with their name on it, and now they say someone stole ****** out of the account and they did not inform me of suspicious activity ever, I happen to call to ask why debit card did not work. after searching for a while, they found account and said tik tock purchases were made in last week( i never been on Tik Tock c*** and all your money is gone, she says, No one notified me, alerted me, and they just say we cannot help you. She said Call this fraud line starting with 866. the no is always with fast busy signal or it rings and they hang up and you call again, and it's again fast busy signal. So I have no one to help me, they need to loose their FDIC license for offering this card with their name on it. And being in businesss to cheat people . And take your money wo living up to their FDIC ins.

      For those thinking about opening an account at this bank, especially this branch...DO NOT, I repeat run as fast as you can, go to ******** Tanasbourne Branch and ask for, ************************* INCREDIBLE customer service! *************************, WOW ******************** what were you thinking when you hired this self absorbed, power hungry, entitled, incompetent store manager? It's obvious to this store's ****** rating of 2! I worked in banking for over 15 years, received the highest award possible "Achieving Excellence" for providing the highest level of customer satisfaction the bank had EVER had. I did that by taking care of my customers. I NEVER escalated, nor antagonized an already upset customer NEVER. My superior customer service awards, prompted corporate to place me in branches that were closing, in order to maintain customer retention. ******************************** sitting at her desk, as all the employees were...not a customer in the branch, and she wouldn't help me, BECAUSE SHE WAS ON A BANK TRAINING CALL...for the record, I drove from downtown *********, to this branch (which is where I opened my account) to get assistance. Banking 101...the customer that comes to the branch is ALWAYS the most important...hmmmmm I guess ******** Bare missed that training session! HER BANK TRAINING CALL WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE CUSTOMER THAT DROVE MILES IN TRAFFIC TO GET THERE! Then when I asked for the district manager's name, her response was, "yes call her and tell her your story then I will tell her mine!" Yes ********, you tell your district manager **************** your story, and I will continue for eternity to tell every soul I know to STAY AWAY FROM YOU, YOUR BRANCH, AND UMPQUA. **** my words, because the truth ALWAYS reveals itself...************************* HAS BEEN GETTING AWAY WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A LONG TIME!

      This bank has the worst customer service I have ever seen in the banking business. They are focused solely on getting as much money out of your pocket as they can. I had the so-called fraud prevention department call me regarding a charge to my debit card. I told them I did not authorize it so they said they would cancel my debit card and I could go to the bank and get another. I went to the bank and they said they would order a new card and send it to my home. I told them that I was on my way out of the country and would not be home to get it. They told me they could mail the card to the branch I was in and they would call me when it came in. I said, thanks, that would be great. Next day my bank account was charged 60 dollars for mailing the card to the local bank. I have a very hard time believing it cost them 60 dollars to mail the card to local bank. I called and complained and they said fine, they would remove the charge, which they did, and then I found out the card was now being sent to my home where I will not be. So I have to head out of the country without a card. They told me basically that was my tough luck.Do business with these people at your own risk.

The $60.00 fee you were assessed was passed along to you directly from our courier **** who charges us the fee for expediting a card. This fee was reversed on February 21, 2024, as a one-time bank courtesy, at your request. Per the Assistant Branch Manager over the ****** location, your card was ordered on February 20, 2024; it was received by the branch on February 22, 2024; you were called about being able to pick up the card the same day the branch received it; you came to pick up the card on March 1, 2024, and you have been able to use it since then.       I had a CD account with ********************** for around 15 years. Today I received multiple texts and phone calls saying that my assets have been turned over to the ******************* reclamation services. After calling umpqua they did in fact tell me that they have sent my money in to the ******************* for reclamation. Btw this was a 5 figure amount of money. What kind of a bank does this!!! The ******************* told me that it will take a minimum of 180 days to receive my money! The bank did not attempt to call me or reach out to me regarding the matter. They reported that they sent letters. What back would just send money to the state instead of collectin interest on it themselves?

      I mailed umpqua a payment check to the right address, and *** showed umpqua have been received it, after one week I called to check why my check didn't got cleared yet? And the answer was that my check got lost. That's so unprofessional and shame on big bank like you to have poor service like that.Now I have to charge twice for mailing the check and you will charge me for the new payoff code and your supervisor I spoked with refused to exempted me from this payment, I can't believe that happened with big bank like Umpqua.

      Their mortgage department is unprofessional and hopelessly broken. It started earlier this year when they stopped providing us with a servicer point of contact - were just putting like stock images with broken telephone numbers on our monthly statement. They then made a huge mistake on our mortgage servicing, promised to correct it, DIDN'T correct it, called us when we were overseas telling us that they couldn't correct their mistake and that they were transferring us to ****************. Now we are being serviced by ****************, which is a scammy garbage servicer that racks up huge fines with the federal government. Month 1? They are hit by a cyber security attack. NEVER GET A MORTGAGE WITH UMPQUA. This has been a nightmare.
