Today Wednesday Jun 26th 2024 i called about a debt and trying to resolve it as the correspondence has been being sent to the wrong address. I was met with rudeness and anger. I then called back to ask for a manager and different employee refused. I said I've worked in customer ********************** for years and I've never heard of refusing to let a customer talk to a manager. She then told me if I call anymore(which i HAVE to call to pay it)then I will get a harassment charge. So they are wanting me to pay these fees but will not work with me, communicate with me on how to deal with it, and then refuse to let me talk to a manager about their rude talking down to me. They tell me I can't call back without getting a harassment charge when i simply asked to talk to a manager and I HAVE to call to deal with said collection. I feel like they are purposely s******* me and giving me no ability to fix this reasonably. This is not how any customer ********************** job I've had works and how am i to resolve this when they are threatening if I try to i will get harassment when they are literally harrassing me about said collection but I can't inquire or try to find a reasonable solution when I cannot contact them without worrying about a harassment charge. All because I asked to speak to a manager and had called twice. Once with rude employee and once with employee refusing to connect to me to management.(not sure if it's the same or different employee) I was nowhere near harassing them. I also asked for employees name who said I can't talk to manager so I know who is refusing and they said they didn't need to give it to me and then that's when they threatened harassment charges if I called again. I feel like this is a giant scam as I can't contact company from original parking ticket and they are blocking me from management and being so difficult.

      Business response

      07/23/2024

We first received a dispute letter from the debtor on April 29th, 2024, and we responded by mailing out the backup documentation on April 30th, as requested. The debtor made initial contact by phone on June 24th to complain about a parking ticket that went to collections. The debtor argued with the collector that they were only parked at the lot for a little over 5 minutes, even though the documentation with photos has a timestamp of her entering the lot at 12:52 pm and still parked there by 01:03 pm, past the five-minute grace ****** to park without pay. The debtor advised that they had no money to pay, wanted no calls, and may pay someday.

On June 26th, the debtor called again and spoke with the collection manager. She is still disputing. The debtor argued that the initial parking violation was sent to another address and that they never got Skyy Parking's violation notice. However, the collection manager ran the plate through ***, and the address reflected what was on the letter. The debtor proceeded to argue about the address and was advised that she should fix the address with the *** for the vehicle. She also said this had probably already affected her credit; she was assured it had not. The collector manager suggested that she could also go to Skyy Parking's website and offer $55.00 to settle and see what happens. The debtor used profanity against the collection manager and hung up.

The debtor called back later that same day, asking for a manager. Due to her previous verbal abuse of the collector, we denied her service to talk to a manager. She threatened the job of the office manager, who took her call this time and said, "It's against federal law not to allow me to talk to a manager," and said she would make sure she had no job. The office manager informed her that there is no federal law that states that, and the debtor said she was in customer ********************** and had experienced this before while being a bit hostile in her tone. The office manager said that her calling to continue to argue and complain was borderline harassment. As the office manager went to hang up, she said, "How am I supposed to pay?" knowing that she could pay online.

      Hi.
The response from the company was completely inaccurate. I did tell them it was sent to the wrong address and was confused as to how the wrong address can be on my dmv files when I JUST got a new licensees than a year ago and my correct address is on my license. However when they explained that's what the dmv shows I said I would fix it but how am I supposed to pay a ticket that I'm not receiving mail from and can I just pay the original ticket since I did not get the notice within the 30 days before they over doubled it. They said that was something to discuss with the business I told them I had tried to contact the skyy parking but have been unable to.
I was frustrated yes and I also told the lady I talked to it was not her but the situation. She was INCREDIBLY rude to me and called me a liar about my address multiple times. She then hung up on me. So I called back and asked to talk to a manager in which I was denied and told they refused. I did say I have worked in customer ********************** most my life and I have never once worked in a place where you couldn't speak to a manager if an employee was rude. They had NO idea what had happened on my call at that time when they denied me speaking to a manager as we had literally just hung up but they immediately refused me with no conversation whatsoever. I was not hostile. They refused me talking to a manager and told me I was harassing them and they would report me if I called back. I said how am I supposed to resolve this issue with the collection agency if I can't call back? And then  they hung up again. I called a total of twice and they had called me a couple of time previously but I only talked to someone one time before my two phone calls that day. I do not at all see where that is harrassment. I never threatened a job I did ask for their name when they refused me to speak to a manager so "I knew who it was refusing me when I did get ahold of someone" and they wouldn't give it to me. I never threatened their jobs. I simply wanted them to be held accountable for their rudeness their threats and their refusal to allow me to speak to someone else. Again I simply am going off Mt many years of customer ********************** where if a customer asks to speak to a manager you always let them and you always give your name. Because if  you've done your job you won't be in trouble for a rude customer. However if you haven't or are rude then you're held accountable for that. It's a collection agency. They have to understand people who call in are stressed out and frustrated by things at times. It is not personal. And for a customer ********************** agent to take frustration personally and accuse someone of lying over and over to hang up and then to refuse to allow them to speak to a manager instead because they are trying to resolve this issue with both the parking plave and the creditors but is unable to get ahold of anyone at the parking place and asks the creditors about issue and to ask for contact info they may have gor the company they are collecting for but they refused that too. They were completely unhelpful all around rude dismissive and called me a liar. Yes I got frustrated by these things. It was not personal until she made it personal calling me a liar and then the next person telling me they were filing harassment if I called back ever again because I called back ONCE to ask for a manager. That is not harassment. I am trying to resolve this matter but cannot since I cannot call them and cannot contact the original parking ticket company. So no this matter is not resolved. And I am not at all satisfied with the business response because a lot of it is untrue and unfactual. I did not threaten anyone or their jobs. I simply said I was trying to talk to a manager and said I would report their rude behavior if that means their job is at risk that's on them not on me for trying to deal with this situation and being treated the way I did. I am not even someone to make complaints like this but never have I been treated so rudely and unfounded. Never have I had such a God awful experience with customer ********************** people in my life nor seen any so bad in my 15+ years of the industry. As i said it would not be allowed to happen in any of the places ive ever worked ever. Yes, I do not think those people should have their jobs in customer ********************** based on their attitudes but that's not up to me i simply want the matter resolved. How are you to resolve anything with a business like that? That if we disagree and call more than once to try and talk to someone different we are threatened with harassment charges. That if an employee is rude and disrespectful dismissive and accuses you of lying over and over again despite having proof of otherwise that they will not be held accountable they will continue to answer the phones and deny you speaking to anyone else instead.

Contacted this company to find out what the debt was about since I had received from what I knew all of my medical bills from my previous hospital stays. This company contacted me to collect on a debt for a bill that I never received.I have since paid this and even tried to contact the Community Ambulance to inform them that I never received their initial bill and they sent me to collections without even trying to settle the debt before sending me to collects.I'm requesting a refund of the interest penalties I had to pay since the original company did not notify me of my debt.Original billed was $107.00 that I received from the debt collector as original bill was never received via postal mail and no attempts to contact me via phone were ever made. I paid $114.65 to settle the debt.Requesting $7.65 refund

      Hello,

Per our client, they sent 1 statement on 12-20-21.  At the bottom of their statements it states payment due at time of service
They are not required to send monthly statements. There was no call to her before sending the account to collections.
On the outside of their envelopes it states return if not deliverable
The statement sent on 12-20-21 was not returned.
They waited 7 months before sending it to collections.
The interest is added when it goes to collections.  Int rate at 9% per annum and goes back to the date of last charge or date of last payment whichever is most current.
      This did not credit report.
We will not be refunding the $7.65 applied to interest.

      Thank you,

Capital Credit & Collection Service, Inc.

I am rejecting this response because: I never received anything from the company to begin with. Not my fault if the postal service cant deliver mail addressed to me. If I would have received it I would have paid it to avoid collections.

why do you think I requested a statement from your collection agency - I never received any original notice of the bill.

      Still requesting the interest refund

      Sincerely,
