Called LaQuinta's main reservation number to book a room for Feb 7th-Feb 8 in ***********. Spoke with individual who had trouble communicating in English. After repeating my request several times, I thought she finally got it right. She told me I would receive a confirmation email. I had not received confirmation by the next morning and called the LaQuinta in Mississippi that I wanted to stay at. I was told no reservation had been made. Several days later I noticed a charge of $124.65 on my credit card. Called credit card company to dispute the charge and they reimbursed the charge pending investigation. Several weeks later I was told my dispute had been rejected based on information they received from LaQuinta. Upon reading LaQuinta's response, I noticed the following discrepancies: The reservation had been made in the name of *********************** which is not my name. It was made for a LaQuinta in Portland, Oregon not Mississippi as I requested. LaQuinta stated they had attached a Registration Card and a Credit Card Pre-Authorization with my signature.They sent two blank unsigned forms. I was charged the $124.65 because I had failed to show or cancel the reservation. Called the LaQuinta that charged me and explained it was not in my name and I did not make a reservation for that LaQuinta. I was told by a manager that she would check into it and call me back. She did not call back. The initial registration employee had made the reservation in the wrong name and wrong location due to her inability to understand English. Neither Wyndham, LaQuinta, nor my credit card company are willing to correct this error that was not of my making. I am seeking a refund of the $124.65.
