1 starColumbia has been added to my personal "DO NOT BUY" list. When there are so many outdoor clothing and gear companies, it makes no sense to support Columbia that produces low quality items and has terrible customer service policies.I purchased a pair of Trailstorm sandals in August 2024. I wore them on a month long camping road trip. I used them both on dry and wet conditions as advertised. They were excellent, very comfortable and felt robust enough on uneven terrain. However, with less than 2 months of use, the back straps on the left sandal completely broke off from the base, rendering them useless.I attempted to go through Columbia's warranty process. I did not save the receipt for these $90 sandals, so they asked for the production number. This number is on the "tag" (I say tag but really it's just a sticker essentially), and this tag completely rubs off after a few weeks of wet & dry use. Therefore, I was told by the Warranty Agent that my claim would be denied. They also tried to blame me by saying the "tag" should not rub off with less than 2 months of use...After this interaction, I gave the ************************ a chance to rectify the issue, but they stated there was nothing they could do past offering me a 10% discount on 1 full price item. I was not satisfied with this, as I would only be happy with a replacement product or full $90 credit.$90 for less than 2 months of use is horrendous. I do not recommend purchasing these sandals, and I do recommend being wary of Columbia products and to always keep your receipts.Personally I will not be supporting Columbia in the future, I will be supporting brands who produce higher quality products with better **************** Policies.Review fromM. I am so frustrated right now. Just got done with a 40 minute customer service call which ended abruptly- one of us must have accidentally pressed end? Yesterday morning (Thursday) I ordered some snow gear which I need for an upcoming trip (leaving early Monday morning). The delivery options were *************** for free, or pay more for earlier delivery. 2 of the options were next week, but the expedited shipping option, which was the most expensive, listed delivery today. I was pleased! I could get the items in time for my trip and paid the $25 to get them shipped. Today I got an email from Columbia stating my items will be delivered on Monday. What?!!!I called into customer service. Which has been sent overseas, making it hard to understand the woman who helped me. Basically I was told that expedited shipping means 2 business days after purchase has posted I explained this is NOT what it said online. It clearly stated todays date. There is no way I wouldve paid that much for shipping otherwise. **************** informed me that they wouldnt be refunding me the shipping fee unless my items dont arrive on Monday. I was in disbelief and asked to talk to a supervisor who told me the same thing. I had high views of Columbia sportswear before this and have shopped here often. Now I am angry! Not only do I NOT HAVE MY ITEMS I NEED FOR MY TRIP, THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO REFUND ME MY EXPEDITED SHIPPING FEE! Terrible customer service.Columbia Sportswear Company

1 starLast year I bought Columbia Fairbanks Omniheat boots. The company claims they are waterproof. This year, just today, I walked in a low amount of snow and my feet were wet from the snow. Water got into the boot. The boots are not even water resistant. Outrageous. I am so mad I spent my money on such a bad product. This company has been giving me the runaround. I ordered some shoes on December 10. And they were scheduled to be delivered on december 14. on december 14 I received a notice saying that my order was delayed to the 15. On the 15 they show me trackin that my order was deliver the day before two times. I searched for my order with my neighbors. And the order is nowhere to be found. They opened an investigation on the package 14 business days later, now, early January. I contact to get an update on the investigation. And they start asking the questions that they did on the 1st day. It feels like they are accusing me of having the package. If I had the package, I will not go through this headache. My daughter is a Fano of de brand but I will definitely not order anything else through their website. customer service It's not there to help you. Even though it was a Christmas gift, I wasn't able to get a replacement or a refund. I had to scramble on my own ordering from another website. Honestly, save your money and get whatever you need from amazon, or somebody else that backs up what they sell, and that will make sure that you receive what you orderColumbia Sportswear Company

Additional options were a 25% off if purchasing the item again (a full month later) with no refund or explanation on how did i get a notice of item being delayed from the 14 to the 15. And on the 15 finding out that ontrack marked the item as delivered at 2 different times on the 14. I was questioned saying there was no delay on record and after I sent screenshot as proof they totally ignored my actual questions. If you buy from this company if possible go to the store. I'm not the 1st nor the last one with a similar situation.Review fromHeather W

1 starI placed an order on 12/3/2024 and the order was never received. Columbia opened an investigation but closed it since it said it was delivered on 12/21/2024. I never received the order and chatted with a *** telling them this. Now another investigation had to be opened since it says delivered. 1 starOrdered an item on December 3rd, 2024, however I never received an item and I havent gotten a refund. I called several times to inquire where my package was, and I was eventually told that an investigation would be launched. On December 28, 2024 at 11:41 pm, I received an email saying that my package was left at front door. Upon receiving the email, I went to all the doors of the building, along with the storage room and no package was seen. The customer service by ********************** and the carrier was subpar. I will be calling my bank tomorrow, because at this point its fraud and the investigation needs to be extended. I will no longer patronize this business. Terrible customer service..I ordered a coat for my elderly mother. This coat never arrived and they can not tell me what happened to it. They refused to refund me the money ever though I did not receive the item. They want me to wait 14 days while they file an investigation with ONtrac to see if they can located the product.Columbia Sportswear Company

1 starPurchased a Jacket for my girlfriends birthday and paid for rushed shipping. The date listed for delivery was by the 6th of December. This was perfect as her birthday was the ***************. The jacket was $75.00, which was no big deal, but the shipping was $25.00 plus tax. I thought that was a little high, but to get in on the 6th of December I was willing to pay it. On the 6th of December I checked the tracking link provided and saw that the order had not even been processed. I began a chat with their customer care team and got the standard copy and pasted messages about how they feel for me and all that jazz. Since the order had not even been processed I asked to cancel as it would not arrive in time and there was no point for the gift as I was going to have to go buy something else. I was told that there is nothing they can do as the order had progressed to far. I was then told once I receive the order I can get a refund and ship it back. I was in shock they could not cancel it and that I would be out the money for a few more days, but they left me no choice. The item finally processed and a shipping tracking number was provided on December 7th, a full day after the delivery date listed on their site. The item did arrive on the 9th of December, late at night and I waited until the 10th of December to submit the request for return. At first I followed the instructions of the first representative I talked to about asking for a credit on the shipping but the new person I was chatting to told me that is not how Columbia operates and told me he is going to explain it to me. He sent me link to the terms of a purchase to me, which I never saw or would read. I then went and asked for a full refund. I waited forever for a return label and finally got it with a return amount listed. It is just for the $75.00 and not the shipping. I should not be on the hook for over $25.00 in shipping fees because they failed to ship a or process a product in a timely manner.Review fromCamille O

I paid for 3 Fleece Jacket did not receive the 3rd one contacted them no resolution will not refund. not in their company policy. First time ordering and also my last time.Columbia Sportswear Company

Absolutely horrible customer service. I had a package stolen and they refused to help. No one was willing to help me or even listen to me. I will NEVER use them again. I highly recommend everyone avoid using them because if anything happens to your package, they take no responsibility.Columbia Sportswear Company
