      My son has placed a custom order for a skateboard and it the order was was canceled because of a possible copyright violation. The store erroneously flagged this order as there was no copyright violation. I provided the source of the graphic image that was in question. The graphic image was of fair use and not under a Creative Commons License restriction. My son also edited the original file making it not different form the file it was source and and original work of art. The sure made contact with me and informed me to resubmit the custom order. Unfortunately, the order was cancelled once more and the money refunded without any explanation. I work professionally in the design field for 30 years and I am well aware of copyright laws for print and digital works. My son did not violate any laws and I checked his work before it was submitted.

      I have been erroneously charged based on the prices that are reflected on my purchase compared to the prices listed on CCS website. For order CCS844357:Board -$75 Trucks -$48.95 Wheels -$26.95 Bearings -$17.95 Grip tape -$7.95 Total should be -$176.80 I was charged $233.75 Thats a difference of $56.95 If all these items were purchased separately and not as a complete board the total would still be less than what I was charged for a complete board with a bundle reduction-Board -$75 Trucks -$69.95 Wheels -$43.95 Bearings -$24.95 Grip tape -$7.95 Total -$221.80 < $233.75 charged Similarly, my order CCS839765:Board -$25 Trucks -$30.95 Wheels -$25.95 Bearings -$17.95 Grip tape -$7.61 Total should be -$107.47 I was charged $137.41 Thats a difference of $29.95

      It was not part of my complaint for the company to change their prices, nor was that a request.

      my complaint was their prices are not transparent and are deceptive, making it impossible for a customer to do comparison with other companies.

      CCS was not forthcoming on their website prior to purchasing what the fees included nor did they provide an itemized receipt. They include an order summary that does not fully outline the total charges so that a customer can understand what is included.

      They clearly state in their website services such as assembly and grip tape application are free, yet add it back into the total price after purchasing. Im not asking them to change their prices, but rather to be transparent.

      I ordered a skateboard deck, grip tape and bolts from CCS. I bought clear grip tape and opted to have it not installed so I could do it myself. The board came with black grip tape installed on it and the clear grip tape in the box. The board also had a ***** of **** missing from it and it scratched in many spots on the face. There is no way to talk to anyone, everything is automated. I have sent three emails to them with pictures, with no reply. My only option is to return it using the automated system and pay for return shipping and a restocking fee because they installed grip tape that was not supposed to be installed. I should not have to be out money, because they sent me a defective item.

      I ordered 2 pair of sneakers from the company close to 2 months ago. They were meant to be a Fathers Day gift and supposed to arrive before June 9th. They never arrived. Ive gotten confirmation from **** that the package has gone missing and I emailed it to CCS. For 2 weeks they have given me no information on my refund and the way they respond seems like theyre trying to brush me off. The last time they responded to my email was 8 days ago.       I sent back an order I purchased online from CCS Skate, because the shoes (even after measuring my shoe size) didn't fit. I received confirmation from CCS Skate on 6/27/2023 they had received my return and never issued me a refund, which would be for $103.99 with a purchase date of 6/15/2023 and order number CCS728873. I have tried emailing the company, reaching out to them on their social media, and sending multiple customer service emails only to get no response. I am at the point of contacting my card company to file a complaint and get my money back. This has been a horrible experience and I would just appreciate the company returning my $103.99 since they received my return in perfect/unused condition. Please issue me the refund in full to my original payment method.

      My name is ***************** and I wanted to let the Resolutions Section of the BBB know that as of 7/6/2023, Case #******** with the ************* "CCS" has now been resolved to my satisfaction as a consumer with the desired resolution of a full refund for my returned purchase to my original payment method for a total of $103.99 after filing an additional complaint with my card company to push a refund. I never heard from the CCS *************'s customer service, but wanted to ensure I notified you as soon as possible that a resolution of a full refund has occurred.

      I placed an order with CCS Skate for 3 items. 1. Shortys Silverados Hardware, Creature ***************************** Pro Skateboard Deck, & a pair of Vans ***************** in Cobblestone size . I received the hardware in my first delivery and then on December 4 I received the skateboard deck, but not the shoes. I have been emailing CCS with no satisfaction. They are trying to tell me that they only send their orders out in one box. This is not true, the skateboard deck fills the entire box of the 12/4 ************ don't remember if the hardware was delivered in a small box or envelope. I just know that I took it out of the container & placed it in a small box with some other small items I had purchased for my grandson for Christmas. Both the hardware and skateboard deck are wrapped & under my tree.The item I am missing is the Vans *****************. Cost $52.50 + $3.15 Tax for a total of $55.65.       CCS offers a membership program for $20/yr to have access to certain perks and guaranteed raffle access + 3x the chances to win. I signed up to this membership on 8/27/2021. They ended up releasing a raffle which was sent to my email on 6/26/22. When I opened the email, there was a link that was suppose to take you to a form to enter the raffle and submit your submission. When I clicked on that link, I was met with a "page not found" error. After trying the link on different devices and web browsers, I reached out to the company to inform them of the issue. Unfortunately, the company didn't respond to my request until after the raffle was over. The raffle was open for 3-4 days. CCS didn't seem interested in righting their wrongs. So, I asked for a refund on the ground of them not standing behind their own terms and conditions regarding the membership. After the CCS insulted me by insinuating that I'm a liar. They refuse to refund my money and proceeded to cancel a membership i've already paid for. I requested that they either refund my money or reinstate my membership for the rest of it's duration. It's going on 7 days and I have not received a response. I have attached the email thread to this complaint.

      Hey there, 

       

      I have attached a couple of screenshots relating to this complaint. Please refer to the CCS+ Membership start date photo where you can see the customer began his **********************+ membership on August 25th, 2021. The customer has successfully been using this membership service for the past ten months. 

      The second screenshot is from our CCS+ membership marketing program. This is the system we use to send out raffle emails. I've highlighted in the screenshot where the customer received the entry email on 6/27 and opened it on 6/28. There is no indication an attempt was made to enter the raffle at this time. If one had been made and the link was broken, the customer had at least 24 hours to reach out to our customer service team for assistance. We promote reaching out to customer service for any and all Dunk raffle related issues across our social media platform.

      You can also view in the "Klaviyo reference" screenshot on 6/28 at 9:29am where it is recorded that the entry link was clicked on. It did not work for the customer at that time because the raffle ended at 9:05am. 

      The customer asked for his membership to be cancelled, so I cancelled it at his request. When the customer asked for his refund I let him know that is not a request we can accommodate because he has been using the membership successfully for the last ten months. He then requested the membership be reinstated, however after a cancellation has been made, it cannot be undone. 

      Please let me know if there is further information I can provide regarding this issue.

      I am rejecting this response because:In the emails I attached in my original complaint. I did not ask CCS to cancel my membership, but I did ask for a refund. When my refund request was rejected, my service shouldve continued. I also addressed in that same email that Ive tried the link once I got it and attempted serval times afterwards until the raffles was closed. You can see CCS took full responsibility for the link not working in the emails I attached in my original complaint. They also took responsibility yesterday on an ********* post which I am attaching to this response. Its one thing to take responsibility, but not making it right and stealing is another. CCS is inconsistent with their side of the story. Especially lying in their response saying I asked to cancel the service. Where you can see in black and white in the email I attached Ive never mentioned once. I pray the company learn some level of professionalism and respect.

       We currently have thousands of CCS+ subscribers and not one single customer reached out about the raffle link not working for them. It was only after ***** attempted to enter the raffle past 9:05am PST after it had already ended that he initiated this dispute. 

      He claims the link did not work on Sunday however there is no indicator that the link was ever tried, as previously demonstrated by the reference photo from our marketing email system. Again, an inquiry was only made after ***** tried to enter the raffle after it had ended. He asked to cancel the membership, so I did and here we are. 

       

      CCS does not have further comment on this dispute. We have clearly explained why a refund has not been issued for the cancelled membership. Regardless, the original transaction was made so long ago it is no longer refundable. If ***** would like a $20 CCS gift card in lieu of a refund, I am happy to provide one for him.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I think it's ridiculous as a retail store, CCS doesn't know how to conduct proper business. With all the money that they steal from people. I suggest they take those funds and enroll in business classes at their local community college. It's no wonder the company CCS is failing and depend on **** product lines to keep them in business. Regardless, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Even though I'll never use the card, because i'll shop there again, I'm sure someone homeless can benefit from it. Thank you BBB for holding these thieves responsible.

      I checked my credit report and noticed I had a collection from CREDIT COLLECTION that was opened in 08/23/2021 for $165.00 with account number starting ********** that I do not recall and am not liable for. I never entered into a signed agreement or completed an original contract with them. This is fraudulent and a violation of my rights. This inaccurate collection is not mine. If you believe this account is mine, prove the validity.I would like all collection activity to cease immediately and for this inaccurate and fraudulent collection to be removed from my credit report or I will file for litigation and report you to the **** and FTC.
