      The attached statement of account outlines services rendered by Acorn Dentistry for Kids, insurance payments made to the account as well as personal payments. The statement clearly states that there is a credit on my account in the amount of $212.60. I have requested payment multiple times with no response. I will not be going back to this business so I would like a check sent to the address listed on the statement.

      Hello,

      ******* is correct that the statement showed a credit of ******. Unfortunately that credit was due to an error when posting a claim payment. **** was seen on 04/07/2023 for sealants for a total of $240 that was denied by his insurance. When the denial was posted, the remaining balance was written off in error. When insurance denies a claim, the patient is responsible for the balance. That write off was corrected on 11/22/2023. A refund was not sent because it was not owed to the patient. I've attached the current statement of the account as well as the statement he received with the incorrect claim circled in red. I apologize for the confusion, please let me know how else I can assist.
