My car loan was paid in full on April 7th 2022 and it is now May 20th 2022 they still have not closed the account and I wasnt refunded my last payment that I made. Every time I call Im given misinformation like if you dont have it by may call back and now Im told if it isnt closed and refunded by 10 weeks call back. I just want my $252 refund and the account closedBusiness response

On 3/2022 Driveway ran our credit for a vehicle (2022 ****** Sienna VIN# *****************). We immediately received a financing offer, and accepted the offer by signing all of the paperwork and agreed to pay a $4,800 downpayment. On 4/4/2022 a successful wire transfer of $4,800 was sent to Lithia Motors from our bank account (confirmation # OW00002091387443). We provided proof of insurance to Driveway representatives/dealership, and after all criteria was met and contracts completed on both parties end, the vehicle was delivered to ******* and dropped off at my home address (***** **********, ******* ** *****). We have a signed contract with my signature and Driveways signature that the initial sale was complete and we would make a monthly payment moving forward at the agreed upon terms. However, on 4/11/2022 we received a message from *********************** of Driveway stating that there was an error on their end and that we need to return the vehicle or it will be repossessed. Here are the words from ************************* communication:You can release the vehicle and we will process the refund or we will report the car stolen and repo it. Those are the optionsOk, thank you for your time. I will alert the authorities now and have our legal team contact you.We feel helpless and violated at this time as we have a signed contract that is not being honored by Driveway, and we are being threatened to return the vehicle or we will have lawyers and police involved. I purchased a car on 11/30/2021. Part of the contract was that Driveway would prices the sales tax, vin check, and registration. As of today 01/24/2022 my dmv states they have no record of the sales tax, registration, or even the vin check. I've called repeatedly to have this issue resolved, and only get promises of a call back that never comes. Their temp registration expired January 9th and it costs **** per day to extend. Not to mention they delivered the car with 800 dollars in damages which they had to reimburse.Business response

under **** military act. company not following all benefits guideline. i ask for decline in service and that little ************* collection agent in collection department told me he doesn't have to put anything in writing nor need to transfer me to a manager . After i stated his racist and uninformed about the **** he told me that he can make the call to decline all benefits. i will never work with this company. working on transfer my loan ALso PLEASE NOTE I HAD TO EMAIL THE company the **** act meaning and full info.Business response

I had defaulted on my loan, but satisfied it in full as per our settlement agreement. We are nearing a month, and my account has not been closed, nor has my lien release been mailed to me. I have called several times, with no return call except from 1 man, ******, who is a fabulous and wonderful individual and has helped me every step of the way. No detailed information is ever able to be given. I'm not understanding why it's paid in full but isn't closed.Business response

I had recently purchased a car and Driveway Financial Corporation is the lender. The sales agent informed me my 1st payment would be between ***** days out from the day of the purchase. I downloaded Driveway Financial Corporations app to check the due date and setup payment information. My payment was due the next following month per what the app indicated. A few weeks go by and I begin to receive phone calls stating Im late on my payments. I spoke to a representative and they informed me the dates on the app were wrong and my loan was due that month. They agreed it was an error on their part but their was nothing they could do.. Fast forward three months and I cannot catch up on my loan due to their error. They cant change my due date to help me get on track with my payments because they are late, and I will never be able to defer a payment because I need to show 6 months of consecutive on-time payments. Theyre aware of how many customers this effected and have done nothing.Business response

My husband and I traded the vehicle off that was financed through Driveway Finance at the ** dealership on July 14 2021. However we made a payment to them prior to the trade off for Augusts payment. They informed us they were going to refund us and that it would take 2-3 weeks before we seen the refund. It is now almost September and we still have not got our refund for Augusts payment.Business response

My vehicle payments are behind I have tried to make payment online but payment is suspended. I have called to resolve the payments to make a settlement and this company said they would not talk to me as they say I am not the owner even though I verified all my information I just would like to pay off the vehicle if they will remove the late fees and unfounded interest at 29 % Vehicle now has damage My next step is the Oregon *********************Business response
