I purchased a set of tires at the end of July. Had them installed and 2 months later I have a blow out on the highway. The tire was clearly defective but they claim it was due to road hazard.

      Business response

      11/02/2021

We are saddened to see this accusation but we must reiterate that we cannot accept it under any circumstances.

We only sell safe, functional and as-advertised Tires in New condition. All of our Tires are sold without any defect, however, should one somehow occur we can always be contacted.

In this case we did immediately speak with the Supplier/Manufacturer and we were advised that the issue you've reported does not fall under that and is clearly the result of some external circumstance.

Given that we are a 3rd-party retailer that only sells Tires without warranties in as-is condition, we ourselves cannot step in to assist; after all, you did drive on this Tire for more than 60 days and we have no context about the issue outside of the resulting damage.
As the Supplier/Manufacturer deemed the issue as a road hazard we are unable to intervene.

Although we do understand being upset about this ruined Tire, we simply cannot provide any reimbursement for it due to the nature of the situation, our advertised Terms & Conditions as well as your approach to this situation.

We do our best to only sell safe and functional Tires and currently have no reason to believe that the Tire you're reporting as defective was anything but that. As a result we are unable to assist you in any way.

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:  The tire was not driven for 60 day.  It was purchased 60 days but was not installed immediately . I went through the proper channel to report and was blown off and that was why I went to BBB.  It amazes me that you are hanging your hat on a $50 tire that was clearly defective and we were lucky not to of had a major accident on the highway when it blew.
You clearly have poor business and customer service standards.

      Regards,

I ordered a tire with this company on October 5th. It was supposed to be delivered on October 7 by Fed Ex. I was home all day nobody ever knocked on the door and no package ever hit my front porch as it claims on the tracking information. I filed a claim with ***** so they could try to locate the package which was unsuccessful. I also filed not one but two claims with my shipper and they were denied by ***** because they swear that package was delivered but it wasn't. I have made multiple phone calls not just to the shipper priority tire but also to ***** just to keep getting the runaround from everybody. Now today I get told that my claims we're denied by ***** because the package was delivered even though it wasn't. Priority tire refuses to do anything because the package was delivered even though it wasn't so instead of believing their customer they believe the delivery company. I have tried to get a refund or a new tire sent to me I just want the tire that's all I want but they refuse to do anything

We're sorry to hear that you feel this way, but we must advise that there is nothing we can do here as your Order was indeed delivered as advertised.

Your Order was processed exactly as advertised, being shipped to the Address you provided us and being delivered there as per *****.

Once you reported the issue we immediately investigate, confirming that the Order was shipped as needed. Afterwards we escalate the matter with ***** and opened multiple Cases. Note: you did not open any Cases or Claims with *****, since you can't do that as the recipient (only the Shipper can do this).
Unfortunately, despite our efforts and your explanation, ***** could only confirm each time that they successfully delivered to your Address, as evidenced by their GPS scans, Proof of Delivery and personnel's testimony.

Since you insisted that you did not receive the Order, we went ahead and escalated the matter further with a separate ***** department, filling no one but two Claims.
Regrettably, ***** closed both of these Claims as well and denied any of your purported accusations and stories that were supposedly provided to you by other ***** employees.
Given our stature and experience, as well as despite our efforts to cross-reference *****'s responses earlier, we can only come to the conclusion that ***** is telling the truth.

As we have not received any evidence to the contrary, we must conclude that your Order was delivered as-advertised.
If you claim that you do not have your Order, we have to conclude that it was lost or stolen after the delivery, which is not something we can help with.

Thank you for your understanding and apologies for any inconvenience.

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because I was home all day and Fed Ex never came to my house. Nobody ever knocked on the door the truck never arrived in my neighborhood I have a nosy neighbor across the street that anytime somebody comes in the neighborhood she is looking outside the door if she's not already outside and she never saw them that day. You want to say it was stolen or lost yes I'm accusing the ***** driver of stealing my tire which means it was never delivered. You should believe the customer that ordered from you not fed ex. I will never do business with you again and make sure I tell everyone I know.*************************

      Business response

      11/30/2021

We are sorry to see this rejection and are forced to reiterate and stand with our previous explanations.

The Order was processed as required, with us shipping the Tire you purchased to the Address you provided; we indeed used ****** our usual Carrier, which did process the Shipment as per standard protocols.

Naturally we understand your perspective, but please understand ours: the Order was shipped correctly and, despite every single investigative measure available to us being utilized, there is no evidence or data that would imply that it wasn't delivered correctly as well.

Many times ***** is not able to provide compelling evidence or explanations for Delivery disputes, which however was not the case here; everything that they have provided to us makes us believe that ***** did correctly deliver.
It would simply seem that the Tire was lost or stolen after the delivery; we understand that you were at home, but it is still possible that the Driver left the Tire at your home without you directly noticing. The Drivers are formally obliged to ensure safe delivery and thus far we have not received a clear indication of anything but that happening in this case.

As a result we regrettably cannot take any action here, besides advising you once more to file a police report if you believe that the Package was stolen or that someone intercepted it.

Do note that we do not think that the Driver themselves stole the Package - situations like that are extremely rare and in this specific instance the higher-tier ***** departments we did work with assured us that the delivery personnel for your area is trustworthy.

Once again we apologize for any inconvenience but do advise that we have done everything in our power to properly process the transaction as well as your requested investigation into the apparently missing Tire.
