Don't go to repperts appliance. I bought a washer and dryer friday. Got home and the washer wants to just a foot off the ground. Called Saturday morning and was told I have to wait till someone else comes in. I waited 2 hours and then I stopped in and talked to ** reppert he told me they would come out and fix it. Then he asked the girl at the desk if she had my info and she said I would get a call Monday. I get a today and get told I have to bring in for service. Then when I said ** said a tech would come out. I got screamed at on the phone and called a lier. Then the girl hung up on meInitial Complaint

Purchased a refrigerator on 05.16.24. Delivered the next day, however, it did not work, and notified Repperts on 05.17.24. For seven weeks they promised weekly to have a repair person come out, that never came. The eighth week they promised, and delivered, a replacement refrigerator. The replacement refrigerator had broken handles, a missing light bulb, two broken shelves in the refrigerator door, and a broken bottom shelf which made the two bottom drawers useless. On a positive note, the refrigerator actually did work, but a damaged refrigerator was not what I had purchased. I was told that the employees could do nothing about it without the owner's permission, and that he would call me. He has never done so.Business Response

Customer purchased a used refrigerator on or round May 17, 2024 when purchasing this refrigerator the customer stated that he would be putting this refrigerator outside in the weather in his backyard at that point that void or 30 day warranty. However, approximately five days later the customer called stated the refrigerator was not working properly and we did exchange it for him at no cost the customer stating that it took us eight weeks to deliver an exchange and as of today’s date, it’s only approximately 30 days from the original purchase The refrigerator is outside not used as a residential indoor refrigerator. So I bought this all in one washer and dryer for my elderly mother that was marketed as new on 9/2/22. The business stated (Brian) that it was new and that they tested it and test all their equipment before selling. They (Brian) said they had a copy of the test that was done on the machine and I requested it before buying, but never received. He Brian) said he would have to find it but give me a copy. I get the machine to my mother's house hook everything up correctly and it displaying codes (F8E1) and will not work. I called Repperts to let them know that it was not working and that it had codes and they (Brian) suggested to call in for the warranty that came with the machine so I did. The Whirlpool warranty company (******** *********** sent out a representative to try to remedy the issue but the machine needs a part that is not in stock and is on back order and they can get it ordered on. I called Repperts to let them know and they told me they could do nothing about the issue. They sold a product that was not functioning or work properly told me that it was new didn't provide me the information about the test that was run on the machine and are not a honest reputable trustworthy business. Long story short my mother can't use the washer and dryer combo that i bought for her that was installed on her first floor and has to go to the basement to do wash this is highly unacceptable.Business Response

Sorry for your issue with the combo washer and dryer unit . As stated you contacted Whirlpool for the warranty issue , We (Reppert Appliance ) can not control whirlpools parts inventory . We did offer for you to return the item for a in house repair however you said that’s not an option being you’re located hours away from our store . Again sorry for the issue but we are not the makers of the appliance we are a retail store . You when purchase knew the unit was SCRATCH AND DENT …NOT NEW , This is why you paid 25 percent of the original sticker price , pretty sure this is why the customer drove 5 plus hours. Your issue is not with Reppert Appliance but should be filing a complaint with Whirlpool corporation .

After the owners of our now home breached contract and took the washer and dryer before we closed on our sale, their realtor contacted this used appliance store to have a comparable set delivered to us prior to signing the documents to close. This company delivered us two mismatched front loader washer and dryers. An LG washer and a Maytag dryer. This sale came with a 30 day warranty. The washer stinks like mold and has black mold all through the front seal and throughout the drum. Myself and my husband tried multiple times to clean this washer with multiple different cleaners and ran atleast 3 cleaning cycles, it will not come clean. I finally broke down and called reppert asking for a solution or if they can swap out the washer for something else. I was told multiple times that the owner Todd would call me and he never did. I finally had my husband go into the store. He talked to Kylie and explained the situation to her. She let him look at another washer and dryer set that was comparable to ours and said that we can have it delivered the next day. She would be contacting him for a time. The next day came and we didn’t hear back. So my husband called the store and was told that the owner said he wasn’t doing anything about our washer. I have babies in our home and I am not washing my clothes in a washer that has black mold all through it. I hope we can get this issue resolved.Business Response

Thank you for advising us . This person was not our customer whom purchased this item , we delivered what was purchased from a 3rd party. So as stated a “mix match set” we have no control over what was purchase from the 3rd party buyer.
As far as the mold or odor this is a common problem with front load washers . It’s Not mold this is a common issue with front load washers having the “bellow rubber” turning colors however we are not the manufacture of these machines .
This discoloration is a ongoing problem with the staining of the rubber , you can google or I tube this problem and clearly see this is common
This is simply a stain and or discoloration in the rubber , the only way to fix and remove this issue is to buy a new bellow , and within a few months of replacing this part it will come right back
This part has NOTHING to do with the working part which our warranty would not cover.
We do give a 30-day warranty on mechanical issues not because of a stain's scratches or dents
Again, this is a used appliance and yes, we would stand behind our product for mechanical issues .this issue is just normal west for a used appliance

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
We did not purchase this washer and dryer from a “third party”. As stated prior…this was a purchase for our new home because the prior owners had breached contract and took the washer and dryer set that was supposed to be left to us as stated in the signed documents. This company was aware of this due to the realtor making the arrangements to make sure that we had a working washer and dryer before we signed the closing documents. Yes it is black mold in the washer seal! It is not a “stain”.And yes it does smell like mildew! There is a decent size water puddle that lays in the front seal after a cycle is ran, therefore the washer is not in correct working condition! This company did not try to help us at all with any solutions to our problem with this washer, even though it did come with a 30 day warranty. They could have atleast tried to replace the seal for us or something to get this corrected. What’s even more frustrating is that my husband went into the business and spoke with Kylie and she told him that we were able to exchange this washer and dryer set for a different one that she had let him look at. She told us that it would be delivered the following day. They literally lied to my husband. Extremely unprofessional! We called the realtor Marie as a last resort since her name was on the invoice and she was told the same thing that “they were not going to do anything about it”.At this point our 30 day warranty is voided and we’re stuck with a washer that does not correctly work and has black mold. This will be my last response to this business. I can see how unreasonable and unprofessional that they are, as well as scamming people out of money and selling unreliable products as I read other reviews from upset costumers!
