I represent the ******************* ******* ****Parent Association as their president. We ran a fundraiser with Nancy a few years ago in which she set up an online shop, our parents bought apparel and sent her direct payment, she printed items, gave them to us to distribute, then gave us a portion of the profits for our organization. It has been a few years so we wanted to offer this to our parents again. We reached out to Nancy and she, again, set this up. Parents purchased items believing they were supporting our theater program. The difference this time is...Nancy has not paid us the money she owes/promised. We have been calling, texting and emailing her since December, 2022. She acknowledges that she owes us this money, but has been pushing us off & making excuses like *I'm really busy with the holidays, will send in January, * I'll get it to you next week,* etc. Now, she is completely ignoring us. We estimate that about 100 pieces were sold, and we were told we would make about $5 per piece; so we would like to recover the $500 that she owes to our non-profit organization. Additionally, one of the pieces Nancy sent us was damaged (hole in the leg). The parent who paid for that piece, and we, have been trying to get it replaced. She is ignoring that request as well. I recently looked up her business online to file a warning/complaint. However, I cannot find anything about it. This leads me to believe that Nancy is operating an illegal business in the first place. She promised us one thing, took money, and has failed to deliver on her end for 6 months. This is money that was promised to the children and our theater program, so it is important to me that they receive what is fair, rightfully theirs, and was promised to them.
