      Contractor was hired to renovate a house. After months of excuses and slow progress he claimed that he'd finish by end of February. Shows up for a couple hours and finishes a small task but no major progress has been made. Lots of gaslighting. He claims he'd have his crews in and out and finish the job very quickly. They haven't. It doesn't appear as though he even has a crew. Paid initial down payment and since October the 2nd installment as he claimed he was ready to order cabinets and windows. Since October no window or cabinets for kitchen. $45, 000 later and almost NO major progress has been made. The owner has now stopped responding to texts and calls.

      Paid a deposit of $1000 (one-thousand dollars) for work on 9/24/2022. The total invoice was $2,120 (two-thousand one-hundred and twenty dollars)After several delays, the contractor told me he did not want to complete job on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. He stated he would refund me the deposit. I have text messages, photos and payment verification. The contractor is no longer returning my calls or text messages.

      I signed a contract with Robert D**********, owner of Red Home Improvement, LLC, on February 4, 2022. The purpose of the contract was to renovate my kitchen. At the time I signed the contract, he told me it would take 2 weeks to complete the job. My friend was with me when I signed the contract. The work began on April 5, 2022. I am filing this complaint on September 26, 2022, which is almost 6 months since the start of the project. The contractor has been non-communicative on many occasions, and has been disrespectful to me and my property. He does not show up to work on the renovation for days at a time, and does not communicate with me to tell me why he hasn't shown up. I have asked him for timelines for completion of the project, and he has not met any of those timelines. He has told me several times that my appliances were going to be delivered, and I've sat in my house on numerous occasions waiting for the delivery which never came, and the contractor does not let me know why there was no delivery. I have been without a kitchen for almost 6 months, and I do not see any end in sight. I have text messages, emails, and videos documenting the lack of professionalism from the contractor and lack of progress on the project. I have emailed, called, and texted the contractor for the past 2 weeks, and have not gotten any response.
