2 starsI went here for rehab and what a joke, they knew of my special diet due to medical issues and refused to take care of that which caused me to have a severe IC flare up and passing blood clots through the urine. On top of not complying with my diet they also did not give me my blood pressure meds for a total of 8 days in the 27 days I was there (which was packed and in my suitcase) while they ordered all my meds from their pharmacy even though I had all of my own and this is just the tip of the iceberg. They brain wash or try to brain wash our families into sending the client to an extended facility for any where from 90 to 180 days if not longer. They tell you that you can leave at anytime but they will and do withhold your personal belongings and even keep your clothing to give to clients that need them. I had surgery the day before I went and some nights was a challenge to get my wound care they wouldnt even give me the nasal swabs to prevent MRSA affecting my wound. Most of the meetings were AA and what NA meetings they had was recovering addicts speaking to the group. They allow 2 phone calls per week after you are out of Detox and you have to sign up for them and some dont get to make calls for several days, while some get to use their cell phones everyday depending on what BHT is working (they take them to an area that doesnt have cameras). Let alone some can have their family come visit while other families are told they cant. Plus some get to work daily from their cell phones while others arent allowed. Oh and one employee got to take a client out golfing for an afternoon (how is that ethical?). I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone, health wise there is black mold growing on the walls covered by paint, some showers dont have adequate shower heads and lack of pressure. Then on the 28th day they call your insurance company and find a reason for you to have to stay another week because they feel it is necessary for your recovery.Review fromMarian H

The virtual video is complete fiction. What youre seeing doesnt actually look like that, or is broken or nonexistent at the facility. The place is filthy. Everyday. Equipment is broken. Staff are unethical. They are disrespectful. I was not permitted to sign myself out even though I was VOLUNTARILY there. I had to run and eventually had to get a Pennsylvania State Police trooper to help me get my personal belongings so I could actually get out of this flytrap. I felt threatened and scared without that level of intervention. Shameful.I still have not had my own personal medication returned to me, which I legitimately signed for. They also have my (apparently now stolen) iPad. No one will return my texts or emails as my address has been blocked. Pretty DONT SEND SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT HERE.DreamLife Recovery

I am sorry to hear your stay was challenging. Our goal is to meet the needs of everyone that comes through our doors. Unfortunately, that isn't always possible. Our facilities department works hard to maintain the condition of the building and the equipment which all meets or exceeds the standards necessary. Our facility is not a locked facility and all of our clients are voluntary. As such, clients are not held against their will. When clients are signed out, successful or otherwise, they are given their property and sign for the receipt of such. When discharges are not planned, sometimes it happens when not all of the property can be gathered as some things are locked up. Typically, arrangements are made for the client to stop back or items can be mailed. We are always working to improve our services and your feedback is valuable.Review fromDarlene K

This place is horrible. Even a felon can talk to their family members, which is something not allowed for practically the whole 35 days! Don't think that you are going to get to talk with staff either because all of their voice messages are full!! I had to inform them of pending legal action to be able to talk to my loved one. I truly feel sorry for those with no one to support them. ****** is WORTHLESS!! If I owned this place I would fire everyone of them and start anew with proper training. However, I don't think the owner cares about anything but the money rolling in! I am sure the owners are aware of this crappy facility! Insurance scammers!!DreamLife Recovery

They need a new director. ****** is VERY unprofessional. We wanted to let my granddaughter know that the place they were sending her to after there was not in network and had a $1500 deductible. Clear in New Jersey. He had a security guard come out and escort us, me and her mom off the premises instead if coming out and talking to us. We were never allowed to see her and he would not answer calls. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!DreamLife Recovery

Thank you for this information. Dreamlife Recovery is always looking to improve our program. When we are arranging aftercare, there are many factors that go into the planning of such. Our first step is to determine what programs are clinically appropriate to meet the client's needs. From there, location, finances, insurance coverage and other things are considered. We do not have security guards. However, in working with the clinical team and with the client's involvement, sessions and meetings are scheduled with the family as appropriate.Review fromTracey S

The outside counselor DreamLife arranged for my son has told my son to not have any contact with his family...all of his family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. We have not talked to him for a year for an unknown reason. Seems that someone with a mental health/addiction issue would need to have a support system in place not to be isolated. We are concerned about what took place at the center and what he was told.DreamLife Recovery
