I leased a truck from staar trucking. The lease payment is for 1700 dollars and ****** dollars for insurance every 2 weeks. Staar canceled the lease from me after 4 days on 1-15-2025 Of the 2 weeks.I was charged for the whole amont of 1700 dollars for 2 weeks and the whole amount ****** for insurance. So I was not supposed to be charged for a truck I didn't not have position of or a contract on.The owner told the billing department to charge me. HR who is ( ***** ) for staar trucking on 1-15-2025 told me i would only be charged for the time of the lease and my lease ended on the 1-15-2025. The 2 weeks would have been 1-12-2025 to 1-25-2025. The owner took $2,158.79 dollars for 2 weeks. And only should have been $453.32 for 4 days on the lease and ****** for insurance. The total of $584.40 So staar trucking owes me the some of $1,574.39 dollars. I've contacted the company and was told that the owner had to sign off on paying me back the money that is owed. For the first week I was told he was out of town and would be back on the following week on Wednesday. The next week I was told he was still out of town. After the third week I was told a phone call was going to be made and now it's on the 4 week and I'm not getting any response on text messages or phone calls from the HR department.
