I dropped my car off for a paint repair on June 19th. When I picked up my car on June 23rd, I had difficulty starting it. The gauges were slow to register, the car made a ticking sound, and the engine would barely turn over to start, all indicative of a battery issue. I had no issues with the battery prior to dropping it off for the repair. I originally felt this issue may be due to the car not being run during the repair. However, Saturday morning when I attempted to start the car, it was dead. I had it jump started and ran it for ample time. The battery would not hold a charge. I noticed that the positive (red) battery terminal cap had been removed indicating to me that Pierrel had also jump started the car. I had to purchase a new battery for $200.00. Thank God I was in my hometown and had family to assist to me in this vulnerable situation. I contacted Pierrel via the email contact on their website on Monday June 26th to ask them about the issue. By Tuesday at 4:30 I had not heard from them, so I called the business. I spoke to Tim. He was very uncomfortable throughout the entire conversation. He advised me that they had trouble starting the car the entire time they had it and had to jump start it every time it had to be moved. He also advised me that immediately prior to my arrival to pick up the car, they put it on a battery charger to make sure it would start for me. For four days they had my car and not once contacted me regarding the battery issue. Paul, another employee, stood in the lot while I placed my things in the car. I believe he was watching to ensure that the car actually started, but mentioned nothing regarding the battery issue. I told Tim that I felt it was unbelievable that they would not make we aware of this problem. His reply was, "Yes, I guess someone should have mentioned that to you, but is there anything else I can do for you. I had no previous issues with the battery and know that it was not at the end of its life.

We have been trying to reach out to the customer to resolve this issue and she has not picked up the phone or returned our phone call. We would like her to provide the receipt for the battery and we will reimburse her for it. We have no proof the battery was at its end of life sense she changed it out already. During the repair of the two doors of her vehicle the doors being open for a extended period of time which could of drained her battery (which is why we put a charger on it during repairs) but not made the battery bad but there is always a chance so we are willing to help her out.
