On 7/5/21, I attended an appointment at Deka Lash in Washington, PA to have a lash lift and tint performed on my eyelashes. This is process that includes applying a perming and dye solution to my eyelashes that gives them a more lifted and darker look. During the service, I did experience some burning, which I thought was normal as this was my first time having this done. However, after speaking with other professionals in this field, burning should not occur. Within an hour after leaving the salon, my eyelashes began to curl and fray and looked very damaged. They also were very tight to my eyelids. I reached out to the salon, and they suggested wetting them to get them to come down, which goes against the after-care instructions of keeping them from getting wet for the first 24 hours. Pictures were forwarded to the lash tech, who acted like she wasn't sure why they did that. After many phone calls, all was offered was service credit, and no refunds.Initial Complaint

7/5/21 - $92.99 Lash Lift & Tint (WASHINGTON, PA LOCATION) I received a lash lift and tint with Monica and within 20 minutes of leaving, my lashes were almost sticking to my eyelids because they were curled so tightly. My lashes are crimpy and even the bottom lashes were crimped. Monica reached out and offered to fix it for free. I did not feel comfortable having her do my lashes again due the the negligence the first time, along with the stinging pain she put me through during the process. After numerous calls and emails, all the owner was offering was a service credit for the lift. There is a no refund policy, but I did not sign anything and can't find the policy on the website. To offer a service credit when I don't want to set foot in the studio again does not resolve the issue. The corporate office had me go to their salon to fix them free of charge, but that is not from the Washington Owner. All I want is a refund because I had to go through so much trouble with all of this.
