Last year tree fell in my car damaging every inch of it in some way. I brought it to Sar body shop even though it was out of my insurance company net work because I heard the owner had dementia and wanted to give the business. They had my car for over a month which was longer than what they had told me I had to pay for some rental. Getting my car back I was told I had 2 diff taillights because the one was on back order ?? I noticed the inside had a bunch of residue on it and it didn't look like they detailed it very much. When I got back to my house and took a further look I noticed there is still broken glass underneath my seat and they had epoxy on the interior of my vehicle. My daughter said she couldn't buckle her seat belt because the seat belt was completely melted from one of their tools. At that point I said enough is enough and brought it back to sars. They fixed the seat belt and tried cleaning the interior quickly but I noticed scratches on the outside of the vehicle. I spoke to *** and we came up with a plan that I would look the car over and any scratches or other things wrong with it he would fix when they got my right tail light in. I had called to check on the tail light status and told the lady about the seatbelt situation and I was told that it was my fault that my vehicle wasn't up to par because I rushed them. I started looking over my car writing down all the stuff that was wrong with it and I realized there is a lot more damage than I had originally noticed. It seems as though my car is buckling the inside of my handlebar on my driver side popped off one day and the door wouldn't close, the driver side door is completely dented from them pushing on it because it looks like my window is going to fall down, scratches on the exterior, the bumper is a different color from the rest of the vehicle, compound paint all over, and plastic pieces in the back of my car fell off, the engine skips, and it feels like I'm driving on ice at times. Alot more...

    Business response

    03/10/2022

In response to the complaint dated March 4, 2022, the customer had notified us of her situation and a plan was put together to address all
    of her concerns.

Sar's Body Shop and the customer agreed on what needed to be addressed to completely satisfy the customer. ********************** agreed to provide a
rental car at no cost to the customer so that she would not be inconvenienced while her repairs were made.

Sar's Body Shop had agreed on a date to do the repairs and have the rental car ready when the customer cancelled the appointment. Several
attempts were made to reach out to her, to reschedule, with no response.

To this date we would still agree to address the concerns of the customer, so she is completely satisfied with her vehicle.
