    I was stopping in to a dispensary to get my medical, the security guard made me leave the building because I had a hat on. There was no posted sign I said something about it and he insisted that's the rule. When I'm finally allowed in the waiting room, 4 of the 6 people were wearing hats. He was older than me and it felt like he could controling me for his own amusement as all the people wearing hats were older than him. I feel discriminated against because I'm young I can be told what to do for no reason. It was really disrespectful, especially when I have a scheduled time to pick up, and he made me go back out to my car. These situations are what gives me the anxiety which is why I go there. I shouldn't have someone triggering my anxiety and making me feel bad in front of everyone while I'm trying to pick up my medicine for that... It was really messed up and I'm still not right from it

    The complaint appears to have originated on or about November 23rd,  2022 based upon a review of the BBB website. We unfortunately did not receive any of the attempted previous communications or we certainly would have addressed the concern earlier. Our goal is to deliver a superior customer experience and have several avenues for customers to reach store and corporate management, including a section of our website for questions and concerns which is forwarded to a service team to address. If we had received any communications prior to the letter received on March 12th, 2023, we certainly would have addressed immediately.

    We have tried to reach the customer several times since the receipt of the letter dates March 12th, 2023, but have not received a response from them. We have reviewed our camera footage and customer files to identify the time of the concern and view the details. On the video, we do not see the interaction occurring as described. Because we absolutely do not want any person to have a less than desirable experience and do not discriminate in any way, we have addressed this concern with all team members since being notified, simply as a precaution. We would also note that the customer in question returned several days later without any incident and did not escalate the concern to management while there. We are happy to discuss the situation with the customer and certainly apologize for any concerns they have had.
