      on March 12, 2023 I went to Affordable Notary Pittsburgh Street location in Cheswick with all of the documents I was instructed to obtain for the purpose of getting an automobile title change. They took copies of all my paperwork, including death certificates I was instructed to get (of which I paid for) and took my payment of $78.00 for their Notary Services. I was told the title should arrive in the mail approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Three months later when I did not receive anything in the mail I began to make calls to their offices. They have "2" different sites; Cheswick PA (724-715-7821O), and New Kensington PA (724-212-7551). I have spoken with owners and office managers. Names are: Ms. Jan, Karen, Breanna, and Stacey. I have been told I deserve to receive my money back but have not received anything to date. 1/5/24

      ** **** would only have to request a refund from Penn Dot on form mv700 as we submitted & paid the invoice to our Messenger service on 3/21/23 (ex: ********* ********* duplicate title). ********* ********* was the owner of the vehicle & Ms ******** **** was requesting the duplicate title which we requested & paid. She can either contact Penn Dot for an explanation as to why they didn't send her the title at 1-800-932-4600, or Sollenberger's messenger service at 717-236-6722 (paid invoice attached). Penn Dot would have sent correspondence to her for her correction or explanation.

      We would be happy to assist her in requesting a refund from Penn Dot as we do not have any way of knowing if a customer has received their requested product.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]  I paid my fees to AFFORDABLE NOTARY.  I have been instructed by DMV and AAA to get my refund from AFFORDABLE NOTARY.  I do not understand why I need to submit forms to an agency I did NOT do business with from the beginning?  The services I paid Affordable Notary for back in March 2023 were Never Satisfied.  The proof is on the DMV website where the car's title is STILL LISTED IN THE DECEASED person's name and Not In Mine.  I need my refund from Affordable Notary.  If they provided funds to another agency they should get their refund from that agency.
