I was out of town and needed help with a flat tire during a snow storm. My relative called AAA to help me. This company comes saying they're with ***. The guy starts hooking my car up to his truck. Then another tow truck comes saying they're with AAA. I thought AAA sent two trucks out so the second tow truck cancels. ********* tows my car to their lot. I'm asking the guy why isn't he taking me home which is 2hrs away because that was the arrangement with AAA. He said he couldn't because the roads were closed. He then offers to drop me off at a near by hotel. I get to the hotel and he asked me to give him my keys so I do. I'm now stuck in *********. The next day I make arrangements with *** to pick up my car from ********* and they made it difficult. *** claimed this company wasn't who they sent to tow me so I thought I was being scammed and called law enforcement. After being on the phone with AAA from 12pm-8pm I find out that highway patrol uses this company as a back up towing during bad weather and called them. *** sent their tow company which was supposed to tow my car and didnt pay *********. I attempted to get my vehicle from ********* and they gave me a hard time and told me I owed them $350 and wasn't releasing my car to me until I paid them. He asked for my card info but I didn't give it to him. They had my car over night and didn't tell me anything regarding how much they charge for tow miles, didn't do any work on my car, and I didn't ask them to fix my car. All they did was fraudulent tow my car. They didn't provide an invoice for the tow and came up with some crazy price of $350 for a 10min tow. The guy yelled at me when I was trying to explain what AAA told me and hung up on me. I called back and he hung up on me again. I called law enforcement again for help. This company is a scam. I don't trust them and they have bad reviews from customers with similar experiences. I'm still trying to recover my vehicle. I just need them to provide me an invoice.

    Hi *****,

I hope is well. I wanted to follow up on my complaint. I was able to recover my vehicle which ********* charged me $470 for having my vehicle in their lot from 11/22/2024-11/25/2024. I asked for an invoice and it was provided. *** put in a complaint because ********* lied and told them they fixed a tire but they didn't and never gave AAA an update that they towed my vehicle instead.

On 11/25/2024, I used a towing company named Eastmount Towing ************* to get home. While I was waiting for a tow, ********* called Jackson County police on me because I was on their property after paying for my vehicle. They were aware that I was waiting for a tow. I had to explain to the police what was going on and have the tow company confirm with the police their ETA. The police made sure I was safe before they left.

When East Mount towing arrived, I was informed that the roads weren't closed on 11/22/2024 when I tried to get home at 12pm. They were out towing people until around 6pm-8pm and the roads were closed between those times. The guy at ********* lied saying the roads were closed so I could leave my car with them to get money out of me. The guy knew he wasn't supposed to tow my car because AAA didn't call them directly. They were doing a private tow to make more money.

According to East Mount, ********* is known for trying to get over on their customers. I have recordings of this incident and *** has it on file. Please update my complaint. Thank you. Have a great day.

I hit a deer on November 9, 2023. I still dont have my truck back from ********* in ************* they told me theyve been trying to match the paint since freaking April ********* is already paid them. I saw my truck for the first time today since November and it is still just tore down looks like no work has been done. 7+ months I get a different story every time and they have been willingly show me my truck. I also found out they are not an auto body shop like they made themselves out to be. Last week the *** which is finally reactivated for the first time since December came on and I followed it to the owners house where I found my truck. I feel like Ive been more than patient, I want an itemized bill of work that was completed so I can take my truck to another shop.
