            I received a letter from Radian Settlement Services regarding an overage amount that is owed to me due to a home purchase I made back in 2018. They have been holding onto $269.43 of my money and mentioned that if I do not respond in a timely fashion, that I will have those funds sent to the state of Florida for unclaimed funds. I had filled out the letter and mailed it in a timely fashion back in the middle of April. I then reached out to the person listed on the letter for an update on when I should receive my funds and if they have received my completed letter. After some minimal back and forth communication, I have still not received my funds and have not received communication back from them indicating whether I would received those funds and by what date. I have attached a picture of the letter as well as email communication. Hopefully I can receive these funds soon in a timely fashion because it has almost been two months since the date of the letter.

            Radian attached a lien claim to a property report they provided to the bank, from which I was trying to get a loan. The claim of lien was not at all related to me or my property, but the bank has held up approving the loan because of it. I have called Radian. No answer. I emailed Radian. No answer. Radian attached the lien without doing appropriate research to make sure I was the right person and my property was the right property, and Radian just randomly chose a similar name. It has taken me several days and many, many hours of research to figure out what happened, and it is clearly Radian's fault. Radian has caused a great deal of grief for me and has held up approval for a loan needlessly. They have acted inappropriately and carelessly and made false accusations. Radian does not deserve a good rating from BBB.
