      We signed a contract on October 4,2022 Do you have our home painted with the rhinoshield products. The work begin in March Of 2023, I should have known when 2 guys show up in a small SUV with a 6' ladder to paint a 2 story home that there was a problem. The process went on for months with one debacle after another. All of the windows and doors except one were masked off for the entire project. The quality of the work is poor at best, the trim work is horrible, there was overspray on all the windows and doors that were just installed a couple of months earlier and there is still masking tape on some of the windows. A couple of months later the real problem started, the coating began to blister and the seams in the siding started to open. Despite countless calls, I haven't heard from anyone.

      I had my house painted with rhino shield in 2019. As you can see from the pictures it was fading cracking and bubbling. There was supposed to be a 5 year warranty on labor and 25 on paint. The paint was covered but the labor wasn’t. It cost me 3000 to have my house repainted. Im looking to be refunded this amount.

      I understand your frustration. The first step I would take would be to call the company you contracted with, Pittsburgh Ceramic Coating. Its stated on your warranty as well as your original contract who contact for these matters.

      We had called Rhinoshield for an estimate and they came on time and very friendly. When it was explained to me, I assumed they would put up something that appeared as siding that was painted-this is a block home-as every photo in the ads depicted sided homes. We signed something that was too lengthy to read and gave them a check for $1,500. They then sent someone out to check out the job prior to installation and then I was told it was just going to be a painted block house. I would not be satisfied with that. I called the person who gave us the estimate and he told me I would have to call his boss. I called him the first time and he didn't return my call. I called again and he told me he didn't know if he could do anything but would check on it and return my call. That was at least a month ago. I think it is bad business to keep someones deposit without providing any service or not trying to resolve the situation.

      We have been in contact multiple times and the salesperson even came out and presented the product on 2 different occasions. We are a coating company and when we came out to do the job we were told no.

      Regarding the above complaint, I entered the code given to me on the website and could not find where to leave my response.  The response is not truthful.  We called them for an estimate.  The salesperson came out with a price and contract.  The contract was lengthy and we did not totally read it, however, at no point did the salesman state the deposit was non refundable.  A week or so later, someone came out to check the home before the work and explained to me that it would not be as I expected and I at that time told them I would not be happy with the outcome.  Then I called the salesmen who in turn gave me another number to call.  The first call was left on an answering machine and not returned.  The second call was answered and I explained how I thought it was a different kind of service and would appreciate our $1500.00 deposit back as no work was done.  He said he would look into it and never returned my call. They were not in contact with us numerous times and never returned my calls or tried to resolve the situation

      Contract was signed on 4/11 on 4/17 we called to schedule. The job was scheduled to start on 4/24 and Ron was told the color was already chosen. We sent a crew out to wash on the 24th and at that time you were informed there was a significant amount of mortar repair needed. You stated you would get your own repairs done. There was no conversation at that time about Rhino Shield being a siding company. As I stated before paint colors were already picked out before we came to start the project. There are also records of Ron talking back and forth on his cell phone about this project.

      When the man came to do the wash and said we had mortar repair, he explained it was only paint. I said that is not what I had thought it was.  We called that day or the next to say we did not want it.  Does Rhinoshield think it is good practice to keep $1500 for no service.  I'm sure they send out salesmen and never get a sale and they would not charge the client for an estimate.  As I said before, the salesperson never said the deposit was nonrefundable.

      Very poor paint job. Defects are numerous. Paint bubbling, scrape lines in paint, overspray on window frames, paint on sidewalk, uneven coverage, and brush marks.

      Rhino shields response is not acceptable unless they strip off all the paint on the effected sides to bare metal and start over. They have been dishonest and unprofessional from day one. I don't believe they can fix it properly or they would have already.

      We will be out again to get the service taken care of. On some pictures where it is textured that is in the design of the product. On the corner we will be able to come out and sand down as much possible in order not to damage the siding and cause further problems.

      Had RhinoShield applied in July 2018. I had one bubbling issue, they came & repaired. In 2023, I'm now having peeling & chipping. I've contacted through their website, email and telephone. I became a widow in April 2018, trying to have quality work that would last.

      Problem:
      My RhinoShield was applied 5/8/18. After 1 year I had a large bubble. After numerous attempts and a better business complaint, I did had that particular bubble fixed. Now it has cracked and there's a service charge, labor. The paint is guaranteed 25 yrs. But now I have to pay? Their own description says if applied correctly, the paint lasts 25 years. Very frustrating.

      Rhino Shield painted our home on May 16, 2018. The paint was fine for about 1 year then bubbling started to occur. Today I would estimate that 20% of our home needs some attention. They sold me on the fact that I would never have to paint my home again and 25 year warranty. The local franchise is now owned by a different company which won't honor my warranty. They tell me that a corporate representative will contact me - but no one ever does. I am frustrated and feel like I was taken advantage of.

      On 5/2/20, Rhino Shield was installed on our home at *** ****** *** **** ** ** ********** Ceramic Coatings, Inc (registration # **********). We started noticing issues in less than a year. In Spring 2022, we noticed additional and increased issues. I tried to contact the dealer and couldn't. It took until 8/22 to learn the dealer was out of business. I was referred to another dealer. I don't have this dealership's name. During calls with Nick W****** from the new dealership, I was informed there were many problems with our original dealer - why they were out of business. Therefore Nick's dealership was backed up handling their service calls. On 11/8/22, I texted photos of the problem areas. On 11/9 Nick replied "Ok he said I could only make one , we will just have to push back to spring of 2023 sorry about that. I will put u on schedule" (sic) From previous contact, the "he" was Nick's boss. So management was aware of our issues by 11/22. On 4/10/23, I contacted Nick as to when we'd be scheduled. On 4/23 at Nick's request, I sent additional photos of new/worsening problem areas. On 5/3/23, after many emails and excuses, Nick said we were 2nd in line. He also ask who was the installation crew. I said didn't know, but they were Mexican laborers. On 5/4/23, Nick emailed: "My apologies for this situation. The old owner is the one who covers the labor warranty. Rhino is backing their product 100%. As the new owners, we can definitely fix you up, all that's needed is the labor covered to handle it." This was unacceptable since we'd been corresponding since last August, his supervisor was aware and nothing was mentioned previously. Nick provided Jesse (no last name) as a contact. On 5/5/23 I contacted Jesse and copied to Rhino Shield via their website email. I have not had a response from Rhino Shield. On 5/10 Jesse said he's looking into it. On 5/20, I contacted him with no response. On 5/23, I emailed Rhino Shield again with no response.

      Yes, due to the previous dealers negligence they are no longer operating as a dealer. We have stepped in to correct these actions and fix the problems. The Rhino Shield product is still covered for the 25 years against any chipping, flaking, or peeling. We are not able to fully cover the labor that is needed to correct these actions but we are doing our best to get the best price available and even split the cost. I know that it has been frustrating and hard to deal with but we are also dealing with these issues as they are coming up.

      Before agreeing to the response, we need to know what the "best price" and "split" will be. We also need a reasonable time frame for the completion of the repairs. The company has not been in contact with us regarding these issues. They have not sent anyone to even evaluate the problem. Besides the items already noted worsening by the day, paint has now started to discoloration in spots as shown in the attached photo.

      We paid $13,500 to have RhinoShield installed on our home 9/13/2019. RhinoShield promises the look of bright fresh paint guaranteed to last 25 yrs. We selected this company because of the A+ BBB Rating and that 25 year warranty. Unfortunately it began to crack, chip and peel away by June 2020. We have made numerous requests for warranty service. We were told that the company has changed ownership and they can't fix all the prior owners problems so we would need to pay labor costs to have it redone. We found this unacceptable. April 12, 2023 we submitted our warranty, bill of sale and written request for our money back. No resolution to date.

      I understand the frustration. We are trying our best and working with everyone to get these situations handled. The product is completely covered for the 25 years against chipping, flaking, and peeling (which you obviously have). Unfortunately we cannot fully cover the cost of labor in these circumstances as we did not enter a contract with you. We want these issues fixed as fast and as professionally as you do. The labor charge to complete these are the bare minimum the crew charges for their time. We are not making any money off these issues we just want them taken care of.

      We signed a contract with Rhinoshield.  You have acknowledged the problem but done nothing to resolve it.  We have not been contacted, scheduled or given any estimate.  When Rhinoshield's product fails this miserably, the customers should not have to pay for it.  Professional companies with good business practices would never rip-off senior citizens like this!  Please just refund our money!

      You entered into a contract with Pittsburgh Ceramic Coatings. Rhino Shield is the product that was applied to your house. There is a 25 year warranty on the product if it flakes, chips, or peels. You can claim your product warranty by contacting AmCoat and provide them with your warranty information and a copy of your contract. They will send your product to your house at no charge. There will still be a small fee involved if you would like for us to install that product. You do not have to have us install the product they ship to you.

      Contracted with Rhino Shield in June of 2018 to repair, replace and paint the exterior of our home (Residential). This contract came along with a 25 year warranty. I have been attempting to contact Rhino Shield since February of 2023 for them to come back out and address several warranty issues (paint chipping, severe fading, paint pulling off from house). I have left over a dozen messages, have spoke with several people live and they take my information and always have an excuse where the owners are not available but they would get right back to me. No one has called me back since. The original manager/owner of Rhino Shield of Pa was forced to leave this position because he did not follow standard Rhino Shield protocol and left several unhappy customers in the area (me being one of them as he did not deliver on what we contracted). Regardless I need Rhino Shield to come back to my house and address my warranty issues.

      Had RhinoShield come out to do our home which is over 100 years old. As of today we are still waiting for them to finish. They will not return phone calls, which we call at least once a month if not more and leave name, number, and the address. We have had 2 return calls where someone did come out look at it and let us know that they would be out to finish in a few weeks. And still nothing. While they were painting the house the primer ended up on our 2 vehicles and they said they would get it taken off. They power washed the older car until the paint started to come up and the Leased vehicle still has primer on it. They also had our back door taped for over a month and a half and it tore off the paint from it which we also pointed out to them. We had a new deck put on and there was primer splatter on it. Railings on the deck were broke which we told them. We also paid them extra to do some of the wood work that needed repaired, some of which was cedar slat siding which has come off in more than one place. They know of all of this since I have left the message and they had sent one person out after over 45 calls.

      I apologize that this has been going on since the project began. We will have an installer out there to get this finished. Unfortunately this has gone on this long because a satisfied completion was signed and payment was made. With those being done these kinds of issues do not reach me until it gets to this point unfortunately. If no payment was made and the completion was not signed due to these issues originally the problem would have been handled and taken care of ASAP. Now that I am fully aware it will be dealt with.
