The purpose of this is to inform people of my experience with the closing company Pennsylvania Land Titles.I will not itemize the list of the multiple mistakes, the Incorrect information provided to me, the unprofessional attitude, and complete lack of expertise in handling my closing.Pennsylvania Land Titles made so many errors that I have spoken to one of the owners of the company twice, in addition to speaking with the chief operating officer once. While they have agreed to refund me the settlement fee (due to the repeated mistakes, lack of expertise and incorrect information), it does not excuse what they put me through and how much work I, my real estate agent, and my attorney actually had to do to make this closing happen. Extra work and time that should not have been needed had Pennsylvania Land Titles done their job. Refunding the money didnt matter, the extra time, frustration, and aggravation that was involved in dealing with this company was totally unnecessary. I dont want anyone else to go through what I had to go through to close on a home. Please note that I tried to work this out with Pennsylvania Land Titles unfortunately in this complaint is the result.*****************************

We are sorry to hear your experience was less than it should be. Our company strives to provide every customer with a stress free and remarkable closing experience. Unfortunately in this instance, a bankruptcy complicated the transaction. Although the final order of court allowed for transfer of the property free of liens filed by PWSA , we felt it was prudent to hold a significant escrow to cover any and all final utility costs. When the final bill was received, we paid it promptly, and refunded the overage to the bankruptcy trustee, per the final order of court.
